Final Singularity: Solomon[]
Andras appears as one of the pillars that administrate the Information Center.[1]
When Ars Nova removed Goetia's immortality and his defeat sent the pillars into disarray, Andras's union with the other pillars was soon dissolved.[2]
GUDAGUDA Meiji Restoration[]
Andras had survived the Battle at the Time Temple, having fled once he became aware of his impending demise. Left in a near-death state, he was guided through the sea of death by a dying Chacha's powerful sense of shame and eventually drifted into a Singularity, where he died. However, his residual thoughts resonated with the powerful desire not to die and fused with it to materialize as an existence similar to a Holy Grail.[3][4]
Needing to connect with the Saint Graph of a Heroic Spirit to maintain his existence, Andras called out to those who shared his desire of not wanting to die.[4][5] The first of these was Hijikata Toshizou, who only recalls having been fatally shot at Hakodate. As he wandered the Singularity, Hijikata projected his desire not to die until he wins, which Andras granted and shaped the Singularity accordingly. However, their versions of immortality were incompatible with each other, so Andras sought another to fuse with.[5]
He summoned Oda Nobukatsu[6] and informed him of his plan to grant all mortals eternity within the Singularity. Nobukatsu agreed to help so Oda Nobunaga can be freed of the Oda clan, and they can return to the carefree days of their childhood.[7] In accordance with this plan, Andras disconnected the Singularity from the past and the future.[8] But he still required a Heroic Spirit, which Nobukatsu doesn't qualify as.[4]
Chacha soon arrived in the Singularity. Andras reads from her record that she destroyed the Toyotomi. He also understands that, like himself, she is on the verge of death. Understanding that feeling, he attempts to fuse with her. But Chacha resists and denies she destroyed the Toyotomi, claiming she tried to save Hideyori. Andras realizes that history has slandered her and determines she is the perfect vessel for him. Chacha denies she is a destroyer and escapes from the Singularity.[4] Andras orders Nobukatsu to capture her.[9]
At some point, Nobukatsu started referring to him as Great Gold Demon Taikou, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Andras also came to rest in Hideyoshi's castle, the Sun Fortress, as he waited for his sacrifice, Chacha, to return.
Nobukatsu eventually succeeds in his task and brings Chacha to the Sun Fortess.[6] Andras summons several Servants for Nobukatsu to command to keep Ritsuka's party busy while Nobukatsu sacrfices Chacha to him.[10] Pretending to be Hideyoshi, the Demon God tries to deceive Chacha into believing she could be with her family forever, all the while consumng her. Though Chacha isn't fully consumed, Andras is revived as the Golden Demon Taikou Hideyoshi (金色魔太閤秀吉, Kin'iro Ma Taikō Hideyoshi?). Upon reviving, he announces the creation of an eternal golden paradise.[7] But thanks to Nobunaga, Chacha realizes Andras' deception and starts resisting him. Ritsuka's party fight him to free Chacha and restore the Singularity.[4]
After being defeated, Andras realizes Chacha will never accept eternity. While unable to understand humans, he also realizes life without purpose is meaningless. He disappears, saying he failed to properly order his goals and purpose in this brief existence.[4]
Later, as the Singularity collapses, Andras urges Hijikata to leave before it collapses completely. Hijikata regrets he wasn’t more compatible with Andras, as the Singularity would’ve been better fortified otherwise. Andras thanks him for teaching him to die lamenting the life lost, seeing this as the sole saving grace he received with his self-awareness. Accepting they’ll soon disappear, Andras tells Hijikata to keep fighting even though he cannot be saved. He calls this Hijikata’s punishment for briefly redeeming his evil, as well as his final wish. With those final words, Andras disappears once and for all.[5]
Characteristics[]
Andras' Saint Graph Designation is Ruler-class in Fate/Grand Order.
Abilities[]
When Andras died after abandoning the Battle at the Time Temple, his residual thoughts resonated with his powerful desire not to die to become an existence similar to a Holy Grail.[4] As such an existence, Andras was able to completely separate the Singularity he died at from the past and the future to deliberately create a world where time is stopped.[8] He was also capable of shaping the Singularity according to others' desires. For Hijikata Toshizou's desire not to die until he wins, Andras shaped the Singularity into that of Japan during the Meiji Restoration.[5]
Compared to a parasite, though, he needs to connect with the Saint Graph of a Heroic Spirit to maintain his existence.[4] When Chacha was sacrificed to him, Andras' residual thoughts were given shape under the Golden Demon Taikou Hideyoshi (金色魔太閤秀吉, Kin'iro Ma Taikō Hideyoshi?).[7]
