Character material (キャラクター・マテリアル, ^?) is one of the material books released by TYPE-MOON. Unlike the other materials, it is not devoted to a specific game, but instead focuses on characters from numerous works such as Tsukihime, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, Notes, DDD, Fate/Prototype, and Fate/stay night. It also features a number of characters appearing for the first time such as Barthomeloi Lorelei, Gransurg Blackmore, Merem Solomon, and Type Mercury. It was released August 20th, 2006 at Comiket 70 for ¥1000.

PreludeEdit

Prelude is a series of short stories intended to act as a prologue to a possible future Tsukihime 2 along with talk.

• Prelude I - Barthomeloi Lorelei, Enhance, and Shiki Tohno all attempt to hunt the newly appointed Dead Apostle Ancestor, Louvre after he takes Nrvnqsr Chaos's place.

• Prelude II - Mr. Dawn and his partner deliver supplies to Ciel in preparation for the Aylesbury Valesti.

• Prelude III - Merem Solomon and Gransurg Blackmore discuss their strange form of friendship and the upcoming Aylesbury ritual.
