Conceptual Weapons (概念武装, gainen busou?) are magical items that have often an accumulated history and cause more than physical interference as they execute a predetermined phenomenon. They can overwrite immortality with "natural life" to nullify such a condition, and apply concepts such as "severing and binding." They are made to directly crush the soul with a concept on a spiritual plane and affect space with semantics and logic. As Physical interference is not possible against formless things, such as manifestations of laws or delusions. That's why Conceptual Weapons exist, because beings that exist via concepts can only be killed by concepts.[1]

A: Yes, but the effect would be lowered. Well, more like, if you're up against a normal guy, it's enough to use physical attacks. You can't use physical interference against things without form, manifestation of rules, manifestation of delusions. That's why you have Conceptual Armaments. Because beings living in concepts can only be killed by concepts.
