She is completely unrelated to the Church's Executors or the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament, and was merely ordered, “For now, watch over the situation of this town”. She never investigated matters unnecessarily, simply ignoring the existence of the magi in town and passing several decades there in an unconcerned manner. Naturally, she is not able to get excited and passionate at her age. Just when she thought that, she received a shock from Ruler who appeared before her suddenly. When Alma first saw her, she realized with a glance that she was the esteemed saint Jeanne d’Arc and almost fainted.
Althea (アルツィア,Arutsia?) is a female homunculus of Yggdmillennia. The homunculi created by Gordes have somewhat varied personalities and abilities, and Althea is a model that excels in magecraft. In London, she basically helps with household chores. She is also responsible for helping with Caules’ magecraft, but she has taken up a part-time job searching for familiars with magecraft.
Amelia Levitt (アメリア・レヴィット,Ameria Revitto?) is the doctor in charge of Tsubaki Kuruoka's care in Fate/strange fake. She is the older sister of Vera Levitt. Although they come from a magus family, Amelia was raised without any knowledge of the world of magecraft due to having no magical aptitude.
The unnamed Director (院長,Inchō?) of the Mage's Association, the person of person of highest position in the Clock Tower, has been the same person for the two thousand years since the founding of the Association, and because of this is thought to be something more than human. He apparently has a high amount of Magic Circuits and power. When compared to the powerful Barthomeloi Lorelei, it is said that if "it was just magical circuits" she will "even surpass" the Director.
Cardinal Laurentis (レンティス枢機卿,Rentisu-sūkikyō?) is a cardinal of the Church, known for utilizing trickery and working behind the scenes for the Church's benefit. Within the world of Fate/Extra, he has begrudgingly become the Pope as of the 2030s, acting as the leader of the organization as a whole and keeping a good relationship with the Harwey family. In regard to not wishing to becoming the Pope, he felt that "I'm such an atrocious fellow that it's ridiculous to think that I could be the successor of the Pope."
Dilo (ディーロ,Dīro?) is a bishop of the Church who is sent to Fuyuki to act as overseer after Kirei Kotomine's death. After the Heaven's Feel route, he is referred to as Kirei's successor and stays for at least two years, while he only stays for six months during Fate/hollow ataraxia and notes he is only a temporary overseer until a more appropriate replacement priest for such a small church is decided. He described as a kind old man who is very fond of Sakura, and he teaches her magecraft during the two years after the end of the Heaven's Feel route. Twenty years before the False Holy Grail War, Dilo saved the life of Hansa Cervantes.
Father Simon (シモン神父,Shimon-shinpu?), voiced by Shinya Fukumatsu, is the local priest living on Alimango Island. He has known Shirley for a number of years, having taught her reading and writing in the stead of actual schooling. It is unknown if he has a connection to the supernatural side of the Church, but he is extremely wary of Norikata Emiya, warning Shirley to stay away from him or lest be "ensnared by the devil" by working at his house. He gives her a silver knife for her own protection. Upon the outbreak of ghouls on the island, Kiritsugu Emiya goes to him for help, and Simon contacting others eventually leads to the Enforcers of the Mage's Association and Executors of the Church purging the island. He later becomes a ghoul as he moves to warn the villagers, and he is killed by Natalia Kaminski.
Gai Gotou (後藤 劾以,Gotō Gai?) is one of Shirou Emiya's classmates in class 2-C at Homurahara Academy. He is a happy-go-lucky person who is easily influenced by TV, favoring the period drama Abarenbō Shōgun, changing his behaviors daily simply because of what he watched the previous night. He only briefly appears in the Unlimited Blade Works route after Shirou and Rin Tohsaka form their official alliance. Along with other students, he notices Rin waiting in the hallway, and he describes her feelings of frustration of Shirou not noticing her from her expression and posture in such an overly-accurate and ridiculous way that Shirou questions if he was a general in his previous life. If Shirou hides from her, Gotou and the other students continue to narrate her actions until she attacks Shirou with an eraser that flips Shirou over his desk, causing Gotou to think Shirou was performing a "ninja move" and asks to be able to learn it from him. He did not have a design in the original visual novel, and he only obtained one in the first anime adaptation. He also appears briefly in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, helping Shirou by giving him the description of a "foreign beauty" that was seen wandering around Homurahara.
In ufotable adapation of Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works], Takeuchi thought the designs were a little bit outdated, so he went with those changes.
Gazamy (ガザミィ,Gazamyi?), the Evil Spook (悪霊,Akuryō?, Evil spirit), is a Magus that is considered to be the greatest disaster of the Mage's Association. While he is not that dangerous as a person, he has a magic attribute that is more troublesome to magi than any other ever recorded. Kaede Makidera (蒔寺 楓,Makidera Kaede?) is a beautiful but loud and obnoxious sprinter. A member of Class 2-A's famed track girl trio. She is the track team's star sprinter, and she wishes people would call her the "Black Panther of Homura" while her actual nickname is just "Maki".
She is a friend of Rin Tohsaka and she's scheming at making her as her best friend, and she sees Ayako Mitsuzuri as a rival. Her hobby is collecting wind chimes, and she loves working with glass. Perhaps because her tastes intersect with Rin's on that point, the two often go around visiting antique shops together on their days off and the two often go window-shopping together.
She is energetic, likes competition, and tries to lead the members of their trio. She can't really stand failures. She is not academically brilliant and has poor marks at school. In the Fate/school life spinoff, she is depicted as receiving high marks only in History class.
Kane Himuro (氷室 鐘,Himuro Kane?) is a student at Homurahara School. She is a friend of Yukika Saegusa and Kaede Makidera, they are known as Class 2-A's famed track girl trio and she generally plays the straight man of the group. She is the track team's high-jumping ace. If you're wondering whether or not she hates having such an old-fashioned name as "Kane", she's actually really fond of it. It seems she actually wants to paint pictures, but was strong-armed into joining the track team by Kaede.
She is considerate and intelligent. She is the brains of the trio. She is quiet, reserved, and doesn't speak that much as well. She is Minori's best friend and has a passion for gossip, especially if it involves those around her. She stars in her own spin-off series, Fate/school life, which displays her in a much more comical light along with her friends.
Kobayashi (小林,?), voiced by Sho Okumura, is a Third Class Lieutenant in the JSDF. His call sign is Diablo II, and he pilots a Mitsubishi F-15J. Along with Ougi, he is called back from border patrol for a requested disaster relief operation, and he is unnerved by the report of it being a monster. He requests permission to fight if the report is true, and is unnerved by Ougi's death flag remark. Upon reaching the monster, he makes a descent to better see it through the mist. With an opponent not of modern technology, he is unable to even gauge or react to its tentacles instantly reaching for him. He is only able to scream as he loses control and his jet is absorbed into the body of the creature.
Kotone (コトネ,?) is a second grade female student that attends Yatsushirodai Elementary School (八代台小学校,Yatsushirodai Shōgakkō?), just outside Fuyuki City. She is a close friend and classmate of Rin Tohsaka during Rin's stay with her maternal grandparents during the events of Fate/Zero. Rin feels very proud of the trust and respect Kotone has for her. She feels it is good opportunity to put her family creed into action by standing up for Kotone, such as when she is bullied by the boys of their class or when the librarian forces work onto her. Kotone eventually vanishes from school much like many other children of the area. She is taken by Ryuunosuke Uryuu and Caster for use in their various human projects and sacrifices. Rin realizes the disappearances are related to Holy Grail War in some way, and feels that she is the only one able to help her.
Rin ventures into the city to search for her alone. It is implied that Kotone meets the same gruesome fate as most of Ryuunosuke and Caster's other victims during the novel. Rin begins to despair that the hope of finding her alive is slim, and eventually even thinks that she should have aimed to find her remains in the first place. She is never referenced again afterward. The anime version of the events play out differently, as Rin manages to follow Ryuunosuke to an old building where he is keeping a number of children. She finds Kotone among them, and she manages to save them all by shattering the magecraft that was holding them in a trance. Kotone returns to school afterward with the other victims. She was originally named Satsuki in the first draft until it was remembered that Satsuki Yumizuka has that name.
Laeticia (レティシア,Retishia?) is an ordinary French girl who got dragged in the Great Holy Grail War, after Ruler chose her as her possession vessel. She's a decent and honest person who has no Magic Circuits, but her religious piety alone surpasses that of others. Though she has lived an extremely normal life, she loaned her body upon Jeanne d'Arc's request. Her facial features and style is only partly similar to Ruler's. Due the effects of the possession, her body was somewhat changed to match Ruler's.
Despite being dragged into the Great Holy Grail War, emotionally it was like watching a movie inside a dream for her. She served as the witness to Ruler and Sieg's relationship, and she was, in a certain sense, the final stronghold for Jeanne, a sheep that allowed Jeanne not to notice her own feelings of love.
After Ruler left her body, her appearance returned to normal and her memories of the Great Holy Grail War vanished. Despite this, she found a direction for her prayers in the form of wishing that "those two may find happiness together", and she prays believing in such small miracles every day.
Marisbilly Animusphere (マリスビリー・アニムスフィア,Marisubirī Animusufia?) is a magus and the father of Olga Marie Animusphere and the founder of the Chaldea Security Organization. In the Fate/Grand Order timeline, he won the first Fuyuki Holy Grail War of 2004 and was the Master of the CasterServantSolomon. He used the Holy Grail to wish for the money needed to set up the Chaldea Security Organization. Though he knew the truth about using his Command Spells to force his Servant to commit suicide and start Heaven's Feel, he instead chose to fulfill the propaganda of the Three Founding Families and wish for something only within this world, allowing Solomon to make his own wish and incarnate himself as the human being Romani Archaman. He was found dead in his office five years before the events of Fate/Grand Order after committing suicide for some unknown reason, but Sherlock Holmes suspects that it was actually a murder that was arranged to look like a suicide.
Master of Copenhagen (コペンハーゲンのマスター,Kopenhāgen no Masutā?) is the owner of the Copenhagen, a liquor store and bar that has employed Shirou Emiya for five years. He is the father of Otoko Hotaruzuka, who is also employed there. He is very generous to Shirou when paying him, willingly paying him a weeks worth of pay for only three hours of work, and he was the only person to hire Shirou after Kiritsugu's death made him feel a responsibility to pay for his own expenses. He likes sweet foods while his daughter likes spicy food, making Shirou see them as a well balanced family.
Minori Mitsuzuri (美綴 実典,Mitsuzuri Minori?) is the younger brother of Ayako Mitsuzuri, a Homurahara student and a member of the Archery Club. He has a crush on Sakura Matou, and perceives Shirou Emiya as his rival. He becomes the captain of the Archery Club after Sakura graduated.
Minori is somehow shy, but he might be also a bit aggressive. He does not show any particular affection to his sister, although he greatly loves and respects her.
Odd Borzak (オッド・ボルザーク,Oddo Boruzāku?, also romanized as "Odd Vorzak"), the Demonic Bee User, is a Dead Apostle and magus. He manipulates Demonic Bees (死徒蜂,Shito Hachi?), familiars that use poisonous stingers to increase the number of Ghouls under his power. Considered to be very dangerous, he brings destruction where he travels, having wiped out a town once. He was once sought by Natalia Kaminski, but she failed to capture him. He later changed his name and face to conceal himself as an ordinary person without leaving an information trail. The Association later obtains information that he is taking Flight A300 from Paris to New York to meet with allies, and puts out a large bounty for him. Natalia and Kiritsugu Emiya accept it, with Kiritsugu traveling to New York to investigate his false identity and kill his allies.
Though his identity and face are unknown, Natalia accepts the task of finding him on with plane among 287 passengers. Natalia finds and neutralizes him from behind without issue, and manages to destroy the bees placed into his luggage. Her plan fails after it turns out that he had kept more bees inside his body, which proceed to turn the passengers into Ghouls. Though Natalia manages to survive and take control of the plane, it is shot down by Kiritsugu to remove any possibility of the bees escaping into New York.
Ougi (仰木,Ōgi?), voiced by Go Inoue, is a First Class Lieutenant in the JSDF. His call sign is Diablo I, and he pilots a Mitsubishi F-15J. Along with Kobayashi, he is called back from border patrol for a requested disaster relief operation, and he is bewildered by the report of it being a monster. Having to follow orders no matter the validity, they head towards the operation, with Ougi saying “If this is a monster film, we are surely the roles which will be killed. The underdogs from Ultraman.” Upon seeing the monster and a strange UFO, he lacks the understanding to explain the situation.
With Kobayashi's jet being swallowed, he loses his mind, left "solely with a perception alien to common sense." Feeling the "eyes" of the monster upon him, he engages it to kill it before it can kill him. Having lost all sense of himself, he cuts off communication and prepares to become a "God of Death" to avenge Kobayashi and fire all of his weapons at the enemy. Before he can act, his battle instincts that are pushed to the limits tell him that there is something behind him, but that delivers the final blow to his shattered psyche in seeing Berserker's hatred filled gaze staring into the cockpit. He lets out a final scream that reaches no one as Berserker takes it over, and later dies during the intense force of Berserker battling the Vimana.

There have been times when he's asked Taiga for a date and then ended up in the hospital thanks to her father's subordinates.
Reikan is a very responsible person. Issei tries to act in the same manner and follows him as a role model. Reikan is very fond of martial arts, training frequently with Souichirou, and takes his role and his duties very seriously. He dislikes having a woman, Caster, living in the temple, but he does not dislike her personally.
Ryuudou Father (柳洞父,Ryūdō-chichi?) is the unnamed father of Issei Ryuudou and Reikan Ryuudou and the high priest of Ryuudou Temple. He is an acquaintance of Raiga Fujimura, said to be trying to "not lose to him" by taking a spiritual journey to another mountain temple, and their relationship is described as "downright murderous." Like Raiga, he is fond of Shirou Emiya. Along with Raiga, he put a great deal of effort into Kiritsugu Emiya's funeral plans and chose the temple graveyard for his tombstone.
She first appears on a train heading towards Setagaya, after not hearing from her brother for a while. Unaware that Tatsumi has been killed and turned into a Living Dead, Tamaki goes to his apartment to check on him. Finding him not there, she is disturbed to find a goodbye memo in one of her brother's notebooks.
After contemplating on whether or not she should call the police, Tamaki decides to go buy some groceries, make dinner, and stay the night at her brother's apartment. Ringing up her mother who is worried sick about both her and Tatsumi, Tamaki then proceeds to stay the night. In the morning, Tamaki leaves a note for her brother which states her and her mother's concerns for Tatsumi and desires for him to contact them, before heading back home.
One of the homunculi created by Gordes. Though her Magic Circuits are meager, she excels in fighting ability and inspiration, so she was selected as a commander. Just as told in the novels, battle-type homunculi have extremely short lifespans, with a limit of two to three months of life.
For a homunculus, she has a neat and lively personality. If we were describing her using visual novel or light novel terminology, then she would be the “female teacher-type who has sex appeal, but is unfortunately coarse and ill-mannered”.
At Gordes’ request, she has taken charge of thoroughly beating up his son. Naturally, his wife protested when their son was beat up, so Toole beat her up and beat up Gordes too while she was at it, winning supremacy over their family. It is said that, for three months, this homunculus stood at the top of the Musik family.
Yukika Saegusa (三枝 由紀香,Saegusa Yukika?) is the gentle manager of the Track Team, warmly loved by the majority of her class. She is a female student of Second year Class A in Homurahara Academy. She is the mascot girl of the Class 2-A's famed track girl trio. Originally she supposed to join the Cooking Club, but she became the manager of the Cross-country Club at Makidera's insistence. Just like her appearance, she is extremely bad at sports.
Yukika is a shy, patient, and mature girl. Although she lived in poverty, her heart shone brighter than the most lustrous silk. Consequently, her smile healed those around her. While she is not an honor student, she respects and she looked up to her classmate Rin Tohsaka in awe. She had several younger brothers of various ages. She's very affectionate towards her younger brothers and she spends a lot of her free time looking after them.
She is one of the few people able to see Assassin at the Ryudo Temple gate, and strikes up a conversation with him in Fate/hollow ataraxia.
Amaterasu (天照,?), Golden White Face (金色白面,Konjiki Hakumen?), is the deification of the sun. Despite being called a Divine Spirit of great class that the time axis has almost no bearing on her in Fate/EXTRA material, she called herself an Evil of Man, candidate for the Beast class and Hakuno Kishinami perceived her as something much more fiendish than a Divine Spirit. She is the distantly ancient, but still existing source of Tamamo-no-Mae. While Tamamo has reduced her own power to manifest as a Servant in the Moon Cell, she would not become Amaterasu upon returning to her full power. Upon obtaining her Origin Form, Tamamo's mythological formal wear resembles her clothing. After Hakuno Kishinami touched Tamamo's origin, Amaterasu saw the future and decided to kidnap her future self's Master from the future spacetime to the past in the Age of Gods, during a dream-like state, ignoring any possible time paradoxes. While someone entering her mausoleum would normally be burnt to a cinder, Hakuno Kishinami display their usual "reckless bravery" to converse with her.
She appears as a large, nine-tailed being similar to Tamamo, but those entering the mausoleum while not in a dream would only see a huge sun. She is very powerful being who could only be overcome through the strength of several Servants, and within Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC, Arcueid Brunestud is about the only one alone capable of bringing her down "to circumstances where its possible to defeat her, however little the chances may be." In Fate/Extella, it was revealed during Tamamo's route that while most Divine Spirit come from Earth, the sun gods came from the universe. Therefore Amaterasu is as powerful as the Velber in term of power, and thus together with Sefar, possessing the energy on the level of a sun .
The original design for her was to be a "naked nine-tails spin on the naked apron", but was given formalwear to keep the "ethical barrier" from being breached.
Anchin (安珍,?) was a handsome monk who was the love interest of Kiyohime in the "Kiyohime Legend." Having fallen in love with him at first sight, she visited him late at night after he requested lodging on his journey to a temple in Kumano. He bluntly rejected her, but promised to visit her on his return. He later broke his promise out of fear for her, running away before their promised meeting. This act drove Kiyohime to despair, transforming her into a dragon who pursued him to a temple. She burned him to death while he hid inside a bell. Summoned as a Servant, Kiyohime treats her Master as the reincarnation of Anchin, loving them while also weary of any lies they may tell her. Anchin was featured in a brief scenario written by Nasu in his blog, describing how he draws the attention of various female Servants of Chaldea during Fate/Grand Order. Despite their attention, he ignores Kiyohime and the rest, instead focusing his attention on Sasaki Kojirou.
Europa (エウローペー,Eurōpē?) is mentioned in Fate/Grand Order material I in Medea's profile. It is said Medea has no direct connection to Europa, but Medea cannot ignore her because Europa employs the Strongest Guardian (最強の守護者,Saikyō no Shugosha?) as a familiar.

The tragic love story of Diarmuid and Grainne later became the story model of Guinevere and Lancelot.
In Sensha Otoko, she is one of the local stalkers in the neighborhood. She is seen stalking El-Melloi girl's older brother.
Hagen (ハーゲン,Hāgen?) is known as the killer of Siegfried in the "Nibelungenlied". He was once called a friend of Siegfried and in the past exchanged cups of brotherhood with. The man granted his friend wish. He tenaciously searched and found out the hero's weak point, crafted a plan knowing fully well that it was a cowardly act, and aimed for the hero’s back as he drank water. Even while knowing that, the hero stopped himself from resisting. Without leaving behind any unseemly figure or stupidity, the hero died as a tragic hero who received a sneak attack due to trickery. His former friend became widely known as a rare villain who had killed the hero through foul play. He was later killed by Siegried's wife Kriemhild, who used Balmung against him.
Iskandar's Ionioi Hetairoi summons tens of thousands of soldiers. Within Fate/Zero Drama CD illustrations and anime adaptation, Mithrenes and six other soldiers are shown with unique designs. Four are featured as the household employees in the parody work Sensha Otoko, given parody names Long Hair (ロン毛,Ron-ke?), Bright Forehead (デコ朗,Deko-rō?), Central-Parting Hair (中分け,Chūwake?), and Erect Member (盛り雄,Sakari Yū?).
Kriemhild (クリームヒルト,Kurmīuhiruto?) is the main character of "The Song of the Nibelungs". She is the beautiful princess of Burgundy and the sister of the Burgundian king. She would later be Siegfried's wife after hearing rumors about her and proposed to her. However, a shadow was cast on such flamboyant glory around the time she was wedded to Siegfried. Her brother Gunther, the Burgundian king loved a certain woman, the queen of Iceland; Brunhild. He requested Siegfried to help him to seek her affection and so it was settled by having the hero embrace that woman as his proxy. It was a request that ended up coming back to her husband as punishment which resulted in his death.
This connects to the revenge tragedy for the murder of her husband in the later half of the tale. She loved him so much that she didn't mind selling her own soul to the devil if it was to get revenge for her death husband as she became Etzel's wife later using Etzel's forces to get retribution for her dead husband. Her hatred wasn't pointed only to the killer Hagen but also to her own brother Gunther. And then Kriemhild herself, trapped in her hatred, is defeated by a chivalrous attack. Furthermore, the sword Kriemhild used to kill Hagen was Siegfried's beloved Balmung, so there are people that say that after twists and turns Siegfried finally got his revenge.

Carroll was a supporter of Britain's Society for Psychical Research (SPR), and Helena Blavatsky met him during her lifetime. It is said that the original Robin Hood died from excessive bleeding at the hands of his aunt by the Kirklees Priory due to a conspiracy of the abbot.

He led a force of one hundred fifty thousand soldiers to invade Romania in 1462. Vlad III and his force of only ten thousand soldiers managed to repel the invasion. Due to Vlad's tactics of impaling invaders on stakes for prominent display to his enemies, his soldiers' morale sank and he was forced to withdraw. According to Mehmed II's records, he muttered at that moment, "I fear no human. But, Dracula (the devil) is different."

The staff he used to split the Red Sea shares the same origin as the cruciform snake staff originating from Leviathan. Their friendship was put to test when Moses became prophet of the Israelites and began to preach the teachings of God, denouncing the gods of Egypt.
When Moses told him to free the Israelites, Ramesses refused. So, the 10 Plagues of Egypt were triggered. Ramesses finally agreed with Moses' request when the Pharaoh's firstborn son was killed by the final plague.
However, despite not bearing any ill will or hatred towards Moses, Ramesses still felt anger due to his son's death. One of his advisers persuaded him to lead a legion of charioteers to Attack them. When Moses saw the coming troops he displayed the miracle of God by parting the Red Sea and lead his people across it. Seeing that, Rider simply let his surrogate brother and once closest friend go, and bid him a farewell.
According to Ozymandias, the light of which he used to split the Red Sea resembled the starlight projected by Excalibur, though the light from Excalibur was far more powerful and brighter.

Enkidu fell in love at first sight and spent a week with her while slowly learning of himself and losing his bestial nature. He took her form as his own as if to imitate it and assume her beauty. Although Enkidu can assume any form, it remains his most preferred form. She was present during the first battle between Enkidu and Gilgamesh, speaking the words, “I felt as if the World was born seven times, and destroyed seven times” at the sight of their battle.

The Vishnu in his dreams is angry that Rama has not used Vishnu Bhuja, a Noble Phantasm bearing his name, and gives Rama trials to overcome.

A companion who was kept constantly busy by Shiki's willfulness and lack of common sense. When Shiki needs more money, she casually puts out an "I wanna go shopping" sort of aura, and the ever-perceptive Akitaka will make arrangements. Shiki's kimono costs about two months of his wages. He got along quite well with Mikiya Kokutou. His wardrobe consisted entirely of black suits. In "A Study in Murder (Part 1)", Akitaka was the one who washed off all of the blood stains from Shiki's kimonos. Shiki's parents had already heard from Akitaka that Shiki was acting strangely.
Gakuto (学人,?) was Mikiya's friend from high school. He wondered why Mikiya would like a scary girl like Shiki, to which Mikiya simply answered that she is not that scary. He later appeared when Mikiya was having a financial crisis and gave him some money in exchange for making him look for Minato Keita, who had seemed to have gotten involved in something dangerous.
Hideo Hayama (葉山 英雄,Hayama Hideo?) is the teacher who got replaced by Satsuki Kurogiri. He was hired as a teacher just because he was a relative to the chair person of the school. He's a criminal who was taking his students out of school for relationship money. After Kaori Tachibana died, he was questioned by Misaya Ouji, got in a quarrel, and was accidentally killed.
Kaede Enjou (臙条 楓,Enjō Kaede?), voiced by Miki Itou, is Tomoe Enjou's mother. In Tomoe's recollections, he stabbed and disemboweled her. However, in his nightmares, he sees her killing her husband, and then him.
Kaname Ryougi (両儀 要,Ryōgi Kaname?) is the firstborn son of the Ryougi family, but he was unable to manifest a second personality within himself. This made him ineligible to succeed as the head of the family. Around the time when Shiki woke up form her coma in The "Hollow Shrine", Kaname is living away from home. He is described to have a Gackt like personality.
Kaori Tachibana (橘 佳織,Tachibana Kaori?) is a high school freshman from the Reien Girl's Academy, who died in the fire incident. She was a friend of Misaya since they were in the elementary level classes. Once she discovered Hideo Hayama taking drugs in school, he addicted her to them as well. Once she began to undergo withdrawal, she ran out of class, saying that "the fairies" were coming after her. She kills herself in the abandoned school building by burning it, hoping that it would be a way to save the souls of her guilty classmates and herself.
Keita Minato (湊 啓太,Minato Keita?) is a member of the gang who frequently abused Fujino Asagami, doing many cruel things to her like hitting her from behind with a bat as well as periodically raping her. Out of all the members of the gang, Keita was the only survivor. As Kokutou would put it, simply having to continue living after everything that happened is punishment enough. It is said that his penis got torn off in some kind of accident. He was an underclassman to Mikiya, and was quite attached to him.
Mother of Mifune (観布子の母,Mifune no Haha?) is a fortuneteller that appears on Mirai Fukuin. She claims that she can see the future, and her fortunetelling is always true. But, 10 years after the event of Mirai Fukuin, she appears to have lost her ability gradually.
Angel (天使,Tenshi?) is an unnamed A-Ray that is part of the angel species, classified as "No.20 Guardian Angels", who has a romantic interest in Gun God. Other A-Rays believe it is below them to interact with a weak human that would be unable to strengthen their species genetically, but she states she finds him attractive and there are not many A-Rays close enough to the angels in physical appearance in the first place. They often go out to drink together, and she takes a great interest in his state of mind. Though she is a humanoid with wings, she does not use them for flight. They are actually used as a dish to collect heavy particles from her surroundings, allowing her to fly and output enough energy to equal a nuclear bomb. This places the angels on the same level as the top ten A-Ray species and the Knights. She takes part in the battle against Type Saturn, though she is seriously injured, and she is saved by Gun God. She speaks with him for a final time before leaving him to die as he wishes.
The Six Sisters (六人姉妹,Rokunin Shimai?), referred to as the "No1 Earth's saving system", are six beings that ruled over all of the A-Rays during the war. They each carried an ability allowing them to surpass all of the one hundred species, and they were users of Magic. Their appearances were those of humans that looked like witches, who wore black hats and rode on broomsticks, from a fairy tail. The youngest sister, Judgment (審判,Shinpan?), was defeated by one of the Knights near the end of the war, and her death cry was powerful enough that it tore apart an entire continent. The Sisters are said to have killed Type-Pluto, possibly in a mutual destruction, but there are conflicting reports. The blood of Type-Pluto created the blood sky above the clouds, and it is said the clouds themselves are actually a barrier designed to keep the two remaining Aristoteles from entering the world.
Type Jupiter (タイプ・ジュピター,Taipu Jupitā?), The Black Aristoteles (黒いアリストテレス,Kuroi Aristoteresu?), is the Ultimate One of Jupiter (木星のアルテミット・ワン,Mokusei no Arutemitto Wan?). It appeared in the western continent. It has the appearance of a somewhat humanoid giant several tens of kilometers in size, but its true nature is that of the core of an unknown nature within the giant that can only be described as a pseudo-star. The "body" itself is actually a mass of black photon gas emitted in enormous quantities from the core that could theoretically expand without limit. It is the Ultimate One that has annihilated the most living beings on the planet, as it has been engaged in total warfare with the western continent. It received no damage until the Ether Liners were dispatched to confront it. It was sliced apart by Ado Edem's Knight Arm, the Slash Emperor, but the core went out of control and incinerated the surface of the entire continent.
Type Pluto (タイプ・プルート,Taipu Purūto?) is the Ultimate One of Pluto (冥王星のアルテミット・ワン,Meiōsei no Arutemitto Wan?). It was destroyed by the Six Sisters, who confronted Pluto to prevent it from entering the planet. The blood of Pluto covered the planet and became what is known as the "blood sky", the area above the ashen sea of clouds. It is believed that the clouds are a defensive membrane that the Six Sisters expanded, which has managed to keep the remaining two Aristotles, whose entry had been prevented, swimming like fish in the clouds.
Type Neptune (タイプ・ネプチューン,Taipu Nepuchūn?) is the Ultimate One of Neptune (海王星のアルテミット・ワン,Kaiōsei no Arutemitto Wan?). It has not been described. Along with Type Uranus, it destroyed the majority of the Leaves of Yggdrasil, the Type Venus monitoring base, during the Type Uranus and Type Neptune firing operation.
Type Saturn (タイプ・サターン,Taipu Satān?), known as The Cross (十字架,Jūjika?), is the Ultimate One of Saturn (土星のアルテミット・ワン,Dosei no Arutemitto Wan?). It has the appearance of a three thousand meter long flying cross. It's outer shell is composed of an illuminated mineral, and no other pattern can be seen on its surface. It attacks by raining down one meter, cross-shaped electromagnetic shockwaves from its body towards the surface that explode and destroy the surrounding area on impact. It can generate different type of its "cross lights", such as ones that will bore through the surface in order to cause an earthquake, destroying the very land on which the beings of Earth live. As it passes through different areas, it leaves behind wastelands covered in countless crosses piercing the ground like tomb stones. It is also known as the Aerial fortress, and it is a relay unit among the Aristotles that came to Earth. It is eventually destroyed by Ado Edem, which triggers a signal for a final battle.
Type Uranus (タイプ・ウラヌス,Taipu Uranusu?) is the Ultimate One of Uranus (天王星のアルテミット・ワン,Ten'ōsei no Arutemitto Wan?). It has not been described. Along with Type Neptune, it destroyed the majority of the Leaves of Yggdrasil, the Type Venus monitoring base, during the Type Uranus and Type Neptune firing operation.
Akemi Yamase (山瀬 明美,Yamase Akemi?) is the sister of Maiko Yamase that appears briefly in Kagetsu Tohya short story Daybreak, itself written from her sisters point of view.
Her presence in the final scene of Daybreak provides her sister the motivation to resist the hunger from chaos beasts in her inherited Reality Marble and gather them all inside her own body for Shiki to kill with his eyes.
Brainwashing-Detective (洗脳探偵,Sen'nō Tantei?) is a parody design of Hisui detailed in Character Material. She came about due to the original release of Tsukihime having a large number of typos that led to some very strange lines. Hisui's lines were affected in particular, which made the line You're the criminal (あなたは犯人です,Anata wa han'nin desu?) into You're going to be the criminal (あなたを犯人です,Anata wo han'nin desu?). The typos were corrected during the final version, but they remained popular as memes that eventually lead to the character's creation. She does not make any appearances in main works, but she has a brief role in a segment of Carnival Phantasm.
Brainwashing-Detective, also referred to as the "Locked-Room Detective" (ロックドルーム・ディティクティブ,Rokkudorūmu Ditikutibu?), is a famous detective who resolves difficult cases beyond the reach of normal deduction. She resides in a place called Tohno City, which exists in a world of despair wherein the very concept of maids has been destroyed. Silently judging the world with an emotionless countenance, she is a cold, logical preserver of the law whose case resolution rate is 100%, feared both by the perpetrators and victims of crimes. She continues her involvement in criminal investigation because she has judged it the most efficient method of locating her beloved long-lost twin. Incidentally, her true identity is unknown, and she patrols the streets of Tohno City every night for the sake of finding her sister.
The nature of her existence is similar but different from that of a Magical Girl, more accurately existing as a Dark Hero (ダークヒーロー,Dāku Hīrō?) of the night-shadowed metropolis. Her main skills are psychological modification, narrative correction, and confession enforcement, and she pierces to the very heart of incidents with her dark, blue eyes. It could be said that she is a bizarre individual who pursues justice with a crazed intensity, whose odd manner of verbalized deduction, saying things like "motive from alibi" (アリバイから動機です,aribai kara dōki desu?) or "deductive perfection" (推理に完璧です,suiri ni kanpeki desu?), is nevertheless strangely compelling. This is due to her special ability, "Locked-Room Detective", that does not refer to a specialization in locked-room mysteries, but rather her own unique method of deduction.
Locked-Room Detective causes a bizarre phenomenon to occur under the condition that she and one suspect of her choice are confined to a locked room alone. Within minutes, the suspect is induced to make a full confession to the crime, and confirms themselves as the perpetrator. Though her method to her deductive reasoning is presumably amazing and brilliant, none besides herself and the suspect of her choice bear witness to it. Per her cool character, when her the ability is active, her sitting posture takes on an air appropriate to that of an "absolute dictator of logic."
Curry de Marche (カリー・ド・マルシェ,Karī do Marushe?), formerly known as Killshtine (空柩のキルシュタイン,Sora Hitsugi no Kirushutain?, lit. "Killshtine of the Sky Coffin"), is a Dead Apostle who is said to have started Ciel's obsession with curry. Ciel was sent on her first assignment to India where she fought him. Before he was killed by Ciel, he wanted to have her eat the curry he prepared before it got too cold. He said that it was the "supreme dish that can be called a treasure of our planet", and having ate it, she developed her love for the food and didn't kill him. The Church doesn't really care about his existence, taking the stance "It won't hurt to just let him be", so he cooperates with them in terminating other vampires. He appears in the "Tsukihime of the Day" manga that was later collected in Plus Period. The manga, described as "probably about half true", is meant to explain Ciel's love of curry. Nasu once mentioned that Curry's involvement is totally a joke and responded to another interviewer asking about his canonicity with "Yeah, pretty much. (Laughs)."
His great love of curry makes it so he doesn't want to drink blood anymore, so he only takes in the minimum amount in order to survive. He has a strange special ability that can change the nature of an object, and his true intention is to use it to make human blood taste like curry. While he has not achieved the power, he wishes to overcome the Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors. When driven away, he promises to make Shiki Tohno taste like curry first.
Einnashe (アイナッシェ,Ainasshe?) is the former seventh of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors before being slain by Arcueid Brunestud and being replaced by the Forest of Einnashe. He was a magus who transformed himself into a Dead Apostle. He was a specialist in hypnotism able to use his Reality Marble, which allowed for "memory remodeling", to manipulate the memories of everyone he encountered, including Arcueid Brunestud, with such precision to make them entirely forget his existence. The suggestions worked on the basis of "understanding", having told her "There is no Dead Apostle Einnashe", so Len's master was able to dive into Arcueid's subconscious to make the order impossible to recall, allowing the information on Einnashe to resurface. Arcueid killed Einnashe and his entire clan, and she carelessly left his body under a bloodsucking tree, which accidentally sucked the Dead Apostle's blood over time and transformed the entire forest into a Phantasmal Species, the second generation of the vampire Einnashe.
Eins (アインス,Ainsu?) is an agent of the Church sent to follow Ciel in subduing the Forest of Einnashe. He is over fifty years old. Merem Solomon shows up instead, claiming that he ate Eins. He says to report back that Eins was killed by the forest because he had reached a proper age for retirement anyway.
Fake Shiki (偽志貴,Nise Shiki?) is a person who sees Shiki Tohno, is enthralled with him, and wishes to take his place. Has the ability to see the records (memories) of one's life upon meeting. Also capable of sharing perceptions to an extent.
Forte (フォルテ,Forute?) is a member of the Mage's Association, the oldest daughter of a magus lineage of many generations. She often takes tasks like protecting Seal-Designed Magi and recovering grimoires. She is sent to investigate the Forest of Einnashe, encountering Satsujinki and being defeated without receiving a scratch on her body. She understands that it is a complete and utter defeat, and she is surprised she even still lives. She asks for his name, but she cannot understand him due to not speaking Japanese. She inscribes his poorly heard name into her memory, and remarks on how his display of ability shows that even Nrvnqsr Chaos had certainly been exterminated before she departs.
Forte is a rare kind of magus who has experienced many gruesome melees, and she has the capacity to face those of the Burial Agency. Although she resembles a blade-wielding swordsman, she utilizes her sword as a magical staff. She favors spells called Aero Strikes (空気打ち,Kūki Uchi?), and using three orficies on the body of the sword to generate sound, making it not fit for slashing, creates a resonant effect to produce an invisible impact on the target several hundred meters away. She has the Wind Element, which she shares with Aoko Aozaki, whom she has encountered several times.
Hanei Misawa (三澤 羽居,Misawa Hanei?) is one of Akiha Tohno's roommates at her school, Asagami Private Girls Academy, along with Tsukihime Souka. Nicknamed 'Hanepin', she is slow-witted, conscientious, thorough and good at fixing things. She is one of the few characters who can deal with Akiha. She also happens to have the biggest breasts of any character (Major and minor) in Tsukihime.
Ichiko Inui (乾 一子,Inui Ichiko?) is the older sister of Arihiko Inui. Known to be a heavy smoker. She works at night, and sleeps in the day, demanding that her younger brother keep quiet. No one knows what her job actually is, and Arihiko has wondered about it for many years. Arihiko considers her to be irresponsible and childish, citing her tendency to run around and do as she pleased after their family's death.
The unnamed creator of Len was a magus active eight hundred years before the modern era. He created Len as a familiar from infusing the leftover thoughts of a deceased human girl into the body of a dead cat. He helped Arcueid Brunestud defeat Einnashe.
Maiko Yamase (山瀬 舞子,Yamase Maiko?), a young woman with a minor role in Tsukihime, and the lead role in the Kagetsu Tohya side story Daybreak. She lived with her parents and younger sister Akemi in Misaki city, whose only appearance in Tsukihime was during the fight scene between Nrvnqsr Chaos, Shiki Tohno, and Arcueid Brunestud. During this short appearance, Yamase was eaten alive by the injured Nrvnqsr. It was her death which helped motivate Shiki to victory.
In Daybreak (alternatively translated as Dawn), Maiko reawakens inside the body of the dead Nrvnqsr several months after her death, which regenerated itself from the fragments used by Arcueid to heal Shiki's injuries. After encountering Ciel and Arcueid, and bidding her sister goodbye and a happy birthday, Yamase is killed by Shiki in much the same manner as the original Nrvnqsr. Her final act is to rescue her sister from the chaotic lives that make up her body, even as Shiki delivers the death blow. Maiko appears to be a case of an inherited Reality Marble, acquiring the Lair of the Beast King, though the reason for this has not been clarified. During the side-story, her head and neck appears as she originally did while she was alive (as the story is narrated from her point of view, her actual appearance is never shown on screen) but the rest of her body is a 'black mass' like Nero, though the outlines are those of a womans. She is capable of adapting her appearance to a limited scope, including taking the appearance of Shiki Tohno. She is also a black belt in an undisclosed form of karate.
Makihisa is the one responsible for much of the events of this series, due to his kidnapping of Nanaya Shiki from his family, hiring Kouma Kishima to slaughter the rest of the Nanaya Family, his brutal treatment of Kohaku, and his strict training of Akiha. He, like all of the Tohno family, possesses demonic blood, which caused in him bipolar disorder along with schizophrenia. And although his face was never clearly shown, In the manga, it was evident that during the massacre of the Nanaya's that he had similar abilities to that of SHIKI Tohno, as he could solidify blood from inflicted wounds and use it as a sword-like weapon.
Before the events of the game, he was seemingly murdered by SHIKI. It is his passing, along with the awakening of Roa/SHIKI, that begins the events of the game. During the course of the game much is revealed as to why Shiki was brought into the Tohno family and how Hisui and Kohaku came to be at the mansion.
Master Panda is a character introduced in Character Material. He wears a panda suit with "Nanatsu-Yoru", the name of Shiki Tohno's knife, written on the back. He taught martial arts to Miyako Arima, and has the same voice with Shiki Nanaya. He later makes an appearance in Carnival Phantasm, as one of the characters sitting in the background. He appears unmasked at the time but is too small to be identified.
Narbareck (ナルバレック,Narubarekku?) is the first member and current technical leader of the Burial Agency. She is very young, but she is powerful enough that she has captured three Dead Apostle Ancestors. She loves killing, most likely getting turned on from it. She is generally shut in the executive room of the Agency as a form of incarceration for that same reason. Word of her infamy has even reached the Mage's Association. She is descended from another Narbareck, the co-founder of the Agency along with Roa, both of them being good friends at the time, she knew of Roa's plans to become a vampire, but didn't stop him. Only she and Ciel have seen Merem Solomon's true form, while the rest have only dealt with the priest alter-ego of his left arm. She sent Ciel to destroy the Forest of Einnashe in talk., but Ciel believes that it is likely a test to see if she is worth keeping around without her immortality. She believes Narbareck is simply telling her to die, while Merem says that it's just part of Narbareck's rotten spirit and that she likes Ciel's stubborn personality.
Sougen Jinan (時南 宗玄,Jinan Sōgen?), father of Jinan Tokie, is a doctor who's an old friend of Shiki's father, Kiri Nanaya. He also seems to be an acquaintance to Tohno Makihisa. Being a former member of an organization who monitored the Demon Hybrids, he knows a lot about the Demon Blood and Demon-related topics. He's retired now and running an informal infirmary. He has been looking after Shiki as his personal doctor. Understanding where Shiki's anemia comes from, he's been maintaining his health by oriental treatments. Also a teacher of medicine to Kohaku. Melty Blood manga reveals he was the one to teach Miyako Chinese martial arts.
Tokie Jinan (時南 朱鷺恵,Jinan Tokie?), daughter of Jinan Sougen. She knows Shiki Tohno since he regularly visited their office when he lived with the Arima family. She was Shiki's first sexual partner.
Tonami Kugamine (久我峰 斗波,Kugamine Tonami?) is a man formerly engaged to marry Akiha Tohno, in presumably an arranged marriage by her father, Makihisa. Once Makihisa died, Akiha immediately called off the marriage and evicted Tonami from the Tohno Mansion. It is fairly clear that Akiha does not like him very much at all. But since they have a say in about a third of the Tohno family matters that concern a corporation, even the Tohno household can't afford to mistreat the Kugamines. He seems to have calmed down a bit, after his engagement with Akiha was dissolved, and he even seems to have taken a liking on Shiki, so he cannot treat him harshly.
Tsukasa Shijyou (四條 司,Shijō Tsukasa?) is an underclassman at Asagami Private Girls Academy. During the events of A Story for the Evening, she wishes for Akiha to disappear, in accordance with one of the rumored Seven Curses of Asagami, involving postal boxes, and gets nervous when Akiha does not disappear as it means the wish will be reversed to her within a week's time. As a result, she panics, and attempts to kill Akiha to fulfill the wish so as to save her own life, only to be knocked unconscious by Akiha instead.
Youichi Takada (高田 陽一,Takada Yōichi?) is a classmate of Shiki Tohno and Arihiko Inui. He is a "mysterious character" who occasionally shows up, described as "something you'd see in a manga." No details of his life are known, and he has a great personality. He rides a Honda Dream 50.
Ise (イセ,?) is one of the fifty Islanders, and she serves the Princess as an attendant, helping her prepare for things like meeting suitors. She only appears in the manga adaptation, shown to be apologetic to the Prince of Arishima about the princess's actions.
The Prince of Arishima (アリシマの君,Arishima no Kimi?) is an unnamed suitor seeking marriage with the Storyteller Girl due to the island she inhabits being the "hope of humanity." As with the previous fifteen suitors, he is given an impossible task used to define her view of love, so he leaves angrily without even attempting it. Even more impossible than normal, she asks for a fish from the Moon that obviously does not exist, and it would involve taking the one-way journey to the Moon without a method of return. She justifies it in that him showing up on a full moon without any tact makes it his fault. He is more humble towards the rejection in the manga adaptation, understanding that she has her own circumstances. He envies the peacefulness of the island, wishing that the world could reflect it.
Sui (,?) is one of the fifty Islanders, and she serves the Princess as an attendant, helping her prepare for things like meeting suitors. She only appears in the manga adaptation, shown trying to convince her to take a spouse at the behest of the Island's committee.
Alma Petresia [Person's name]
A Christian sister who works at the church under the authority of the Holy Church in Trifas. She is completely unrelated to the Church’s Executors or the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament, and was merely ordered, “For now, watch over the situation of this town”. She never investigated matters unnecessarily, simply ignoring the existence of the magi in town and passing several decades there in an unconcerned manner.
Naturally, she isn’t able to get excited and passionate at her age… Just when she thought that, she received a shock from the girl who appeared before her suddenly. When Alma first saw her, she realized with a glance that she was the esteemed saint Jeanne d’Arc and almost fainted.
Althea [Person's name]
The homunculus who aided in searching for Assassin of Black. After the war, she went with Caules to London. She actually appears stealthily in one of the illustrations of Volume 3, instead of Tool.
The homunculi created by Gordes have somewhat varied personalities and abilities, and Althea is a model that excels in magecraft. Her personality is exactly like that of a homunculus: reserved, yet wicked tongued. In London, she basically helps with household chores… She is also responsible for helping with Caules’ magecraft, but she has taken up a part-time job searching for familiars with magecraft.
[v] Fate/complete material III: World material - Theory of Magic - The two great forces in the Thaumaturgy world: Mage's Association, p.051
“Clock Tower”, the Highest Institute of Magic
The Clock Tower, the core of the Association and in fact what could also be said to be the Association itself, is based in the British museum of London. Magi from all over the world gather and devote themselves day and night to the study of magic, while at the same time, are busily tripping over and being tripped over by other factions and competing for power and budget. The organization is anything but harmonious and has a complicated bizarre structure, but the magical research there is without doubt the leading edge.
Below the building, there is the magi’s research area which includes studies and archives. It is only a venerable museum to normal people of course, but at the deepest part, there is a special area (prison?) called the “Bottom of the Bridge” where the Association confines many sealing designated magi deemed to be “dangerous because their talents were too outstanding.” Also, apparently the Gazamy the “Evil Spook”, treated as the number one disaster in the Association, is locked up at the bottom of the London tower.
The person of highest position in the Clock Tower, the “Director” has been the same person for the 2000 years since the founding of the organization, and because of this is thought to be something more than human.
The organization handling patents relating to magic is also the Clock Tower, and the current finances of the Tohsaka family is being by covered by the patent royalties that are being transferred to their account.
Ranks of Magi
A magus is given a “rank” that matches his ability. The highest is said to be Crown (Grand), but details on it are unknown. Note that Lord El-melloi II, lecturer at the Clock Tower who has produced many Grands among his pupils, is stuck in the mediocre “fourth rank” for some reason.
Separate from the normal ranks, color-based titles are given to those that have become special.
The highest are red, blue, and yellow based on the three primary colors. After that, there are the combined colors of orange, purple, green, black, and so on. The further down you go, the less your rank is. Note that there is no rule about only one person for each color. The Association will, without any stinginess, award a color to you if you’re a magus of great stature or one with an unusual talent.
Sealing Designation Enforcers
If you receive a “sealing designation”, you will be confined and even your magic research will be gone, not to mention your freedom. Thus, the person given that designation will of course desperately resist that and won’t stop fighting. To forcefully retrieve magi who were qualified enough to be given a sealing designation, the Association dispatches “Enforcers.” There are around 30 of them total, and Bazett is one of them.
Lords, consuming their time in power struggles
In the Magic Association, no rather, the Clock Tower, there are a number of families that hold sway. They are called Lords and are the objects of fear. There are three major families of Lords and about 20 families of relatives. These families are well-known even in normal society. The history of one family is at shortest 500 years and the longest is over 2000 years. They have been plotting and plotting since a staggeringly long past.
The Sea of Estray, together with the Atlas Institute, is an organization called the original form of the Magic Association.
Among the founders of the Magic Association, there had been many heretical magi who were exiled from the Sea of Estray and the Atlas Institute and had no place left to go.
The base of the Sea of Estray is in Northern Europe. This base, with the nickname of the Moving Stone Coffin, is itself a moving mountain range. Normally it is wandering at sea as its name suggests, but sometimes it comes up on dry land.
It seems they research mainly body alteration, but the specifics are unknown.
*What is an alchemist?
One who studies the flow of matter. That is what an alchemist is. The alchemists of the Clock Tower created products like the homunculi of the Einzbern by merging with western magery.
However, the ultimate goal of the alchemists of the Atlas Institute is set even closer to the original ideology, as the "transformation of events". The often spoke-up "transformation of base metal to gold" in alchemy is, to the members of the Atlas Institute, mere "transformation of matter" and is nothing more than a primitive art far removed from their ideals. Their alchemy is an advancement of the metallurgy of ancient Egypt, the root of the discipline, and has not been influenced by western magery like the alchemy that the Clock Tower magi handle.
Gotou-kun [Person's name]
A happy-go-lucky guy that changed his behaviours everyday depending on the TV shows he watched the night before.
His favorite period drama was Abarenbo Shogan.
Q: I was wondering why they changed Gotou's character designs. <Kusakaki>
Nasu: Don’t be silly. That Gotou can change at will. Takeuchi: Right? If you've ever claimed to see him, it was really just a figment of your imagination. But really, we just thought the designs were a little bit outdated, so we went with those changes.
[v] Fate/complete material III: World material - FAQ with Nasu: Magecraft and Magi, p.136 Q: Just what is Gazamy the Evil Spook thing that's been made out to be the top disaster in the Magic Association?
Q: Just what is Gazamy the Evil Spook thing that's been made out to be the top disaster in the Magic Association?
A: It's the name they call this magus that's locked in the bottom of the London Tower. Not that dangerous a person, but they say that no person has ever had a magic attribute as troublesome to magi as that. We'll eventually learn more of Gazamy probably.
Kaede Makidera [Person's name]
A member of Class 2-A's famed track girl trio. She is the track team's star sprinter, and wishes people would call her the Black Panther of Homura. Her actual nickname is just "Maki".
She's scheming at making the honor student Tohsaka Rin her best friend, and sees Mitsuzuri Ayako as a rival.
Her hobby is collecting wind chimes, and she loves working with glass. Perhaps because her tastes intersect with Rin's on that point, the two often go around visiting antique shops together on their days off.
Kane Himuro [Person's name]
A member of Class 2-A's famed track girl trio. She generally plays the straight man of the group.
She is the track team's high-jumping ace. If you're wondering whether or not she hates having such an old-fashioned name as "Kane", she's actually really fond of it.
It seems she actually wants to paint pictures, but was strong-armed into joining the track team by Makidera Kaede.
Kotone [Person's name]
Rin’s classmate, who was kidnapped by Gilles and Uryuu, umm…a girl with a muddled fate.
During the first draft, the name “Satsuki” was picked without thinking, the author forgot about Sacchin’s real name up until the original author’s punishment – he even forgot the fact that Sacchin had a real name.
Yumizuka Satsuki fans all over the world, we must respectfully apologize.
Kinoko: “Fujibuchi, be a little more considerate…”
Gen: “If she (the target of the teasing) is not called Satsuki, she’s not moe.”
Somehow this conversation happened but didn’t happen.
Laeticia [Person's name]
The French girl who Ruler chose as her possession vessel. She’s a decent and honest person who has no Magic Circuits, but her religious piety alone surpasses that of others. Though she has lived an extremely normal life, she loaned her body upon Jeanne d’Arc’s request. Her facial features and style is only partly similar to Ruler’s. Due the effects of the possession, her body was somewhat changed to match Ruler’s. After Ruler left her body, she returned to normal.
She served as the witness to Ruler and Sieg’s relationship, and she was, in a certain sense, the final stronghold for Jeanne, a sheep that allowed Jeanne not to notice her own feelings of love.
She is an ordinary person who got dragged into the Great Holy Grail War, but emotionally it was like watching a movie inside a dream for her, and after it ended her memories of it wore away in the blink of an eye. Even so, she doesn’t make vague prayers anymore, as she found a direction for her prayers in the form of wishing that “those two may find happiness together”, and she prays believing in such small miracles every day.
Tool [Person's name]
One of the homunculi created by Gordes. Though her Magic Circuits are meager, she excels in fighting ability and inspiration, so she was selected as a commander. Just as told in the novels, battle-type homunculi have extremely short lifespans, with a limit of two to three months of life.
For a homunculus, she has a neat and lively personality. If we were describing her using visual novel or light novel terminology, then she would be the “female teacher-type who has sex appeal, but is unfortunately coarse and ill-mannered”.
At Gordes’ request, she has taken charge of thoroughly beating up his son. Naturally, his wife protested when their son was beat up, so Tool beat her up and beat up Gordes too while she was at it, winning supremacy over their family. It is said that, for three months, this homunculus stood at the top of the Musik family.
Yukika Saegusa [Person's name]
A female student of Second year Class A.
The mascot of the girl trio. She was quite personable, patient, and mature.
She was not an honour student, and she looked up to her classmate Tohsaka Rin in awe.
She had several younger brothers of various ages.
Although she lived in poverty, her heart shone brighter than the most lustrous silk.
Consequently, her smile healed those around her, and her rabbit-like awwww-inducing qualities really stirred the protective instinct in people.
Originally she supposed to join the Cooking Club, but she became the manager of the Cross-country Club at Makidera's insistence.
By the way, just like you thought, she was extremely bad at sports.
Aias [Person's name]
A hero who fought alongside Achilles during the Trojan War. There is both an Aias the Great and an Aias the Lesser, but neither of them met a decent end. The shield of Aias the Great is the famous “Rho Aias: Seven Rings that Cover the Fiery Heavens”.
Rho Aias [Noble Phantasm]
The Seven Rings that Cover the Fiery Heavens.
In Greek mythology, the shield used by the hero Aias during the Trojan War.
It was a bronze shield covered by seven layers of ox hide, and the only thing that proved capable of stopping the javelin of the great hero of Troy, Hector. (Though it managed to penetrate six layers of ox hide, the seventh layer was unbroken.)
Afterward, its fame spread, and its existence was eventually sublimed into a "conceptual armament" boasting absolute defensive power against thrown weapons.
It is the only defensive armament Archer can use proficiently.
The Rho Aias that protected Shirou's spellcasting during the finale of the Rin route was not something he projected himself, but was actually made by Archer who was watching the battle from a distance.
Berserker (White) [Servant?]
Berserker is the second Servant you end up fighting during the fourth round.
Her master is Monji Gatou.
She is a Funny Vamp [localized as Temptress] with tousled blond hair and crimson eyes.
She is a fan service character.
Technically not a wizard, she is just some strange creature that Gatou brought along from Earth. Sometimes a cat, sometimes Yuzu-nee, sometimes a silicon creature, Berserker is a princess that doesn’t seem to have a proper place in the game. She desperately awaits a redesign.
Incidentally, in the world of EXTRA where the information world (digital) takes precedence over the physical world, she is no longer the strongest.
This is because in the information world legend becomes reality, and natural phenomena that have been incarnated as “Gods” can often hold more power than their original natural existence does.
Well even with that being said, if Berserker regained her sanity she would easily be considered a cheat-tier Servant. Her power, “The stage is the Moon, so all targets have their power reduced to a sixth of their usual.” would be extremely useful against other similar cheat-tier Servants.
It’s a conceptual numerical alteration, so it is unavoidable when on the Moon. Even the Moon Cell transformed version of BB would be limited by it.
In EXTRA and CCC, she is about the only one who is “Capable of defeating Konjiki Hakumen (Golden White Face), no matter how small the chance might be.”
Alter Ego G
Real Name: Kingprotea
Alignment: Lawful Good
Noble Phantasm: -
Alter Ego of thirst of love.
G means gigantism, growing, greed.
It was formerly sealed at the ends of the imaginary number space.
Alter Egos are complexes made from several goddesses, however Protea is created from the essence of the great Mother Goddess that is common throughout all mythologies. Her self can be treated as a Noble Phantasm as she does not possess a Noble Phantasm. As with the Golden White Face, she's a hazard that can only be overcome in battle through the combined strength of several servants.
■ Huge Scale - EX
A cheat skill that evolved from Self-Modification.
There is no limit to how large she can get. Once the upper limit is reached, the upper limit is further increased. This is infinitely repeated. Basically infinite growth of infinite growth.
Anywho, she's a planet destroying universe level disaster, but giant transformation makes her lose complex intelligence and function. This skill cannot bear common sense, so one completely self-destructs.
■ Grow Up Grow - EX
Cheat Skill evolving from Experience Point Bonus.
Experience Point Bonus allows one to gain a bonus percentage of experience points after a battle. King Protea's skill cheats and changes it to "Always gaining Experience Points."
■ Self-Suggestion - EX
Suggestion applied to oneself.
A skill that raises resistance against mental interference. At A rank "I do not age = Truly stops aging" level of assumption is possible. At EX level, whatever is going on in that mental world is outside of understanding.
Golden Fur, White Face. The nine-tailed divine spirit we get a glimpse of in Casko's third SG. Deification of the sun. Amaterasu gone delinquent.
When Casko goes to nine-tails mode this is what she will......not be.
All this is is the distantly ancient but still existing original source of Casko.
When you're a divine spirit of this class, the time axis has almost no bearing on you.
Normally someone entering the mausoleum would be burnt to a cinder, but our Xavier, meeting our expectations like always, not only is not incinerated, but demonstrates his usual reckless bravery (stupid menu choices).
She would have been in a naked nine-tails spin on the naked apron, but the ethical barrier couldn't be breached so we made sure she wore formalwear.
Oh and if a person who doesn't dream go in, all he'll see in the mausoleum is a huge sun.

However, upon visiting Anchin late at night, Kiyohime was bluntly rejected. Nevertheless, Anchin promised to meet her again while on his way back from the temple in Kumano. However--
Level 3 Bond
Anchin broke his promise out of fear for Kiyohime and ended up running away without meeting her. Noticing that, Kiyohime felt into despair, grief and resentment over being betrayed, turned into a dragon and began to pursue him. Finally catching up at a temple, she burned Anchin to death while he was hiding inside a bell.
Level 4 Bond
There are no records of her having the blood of the Dragon Kind mixed in. There was only a persistent deep-rooted delusion towards the human she was deeply in love with.
...in other words, one could say that transforming into a dragon just with a "misconception" is an manifestation of her tenacity.

A fire-breathing great serpent. That is, a turnover into a dragon. If she is summoned as a Servant, this will last for only 1 turn, but the force of the dragon's breath is tremendous.
Since she seems to believe the Master is the reincarnation of Anchin, special care is required in managing her. If you lie to her even after being reminded that she does not want to be lied to, there is a chance she might come to take away your Command Spells. That aside, she is a fine bride with a good disposition and skillful in cooking.

The Noble Phantasm that Sherlock Holmes acquired upon manifesting as a Servant. His Origin - “Elucidation” - sublimated as a Noble Phantasm.
Even if the enigma he faces is truly an existence that cannot be explained, clues and paths for reaching the truth will always “appear”.
Even if there was a treasure chest whose key has been lost, said key will turn out to be “not lost”, and would certainly be possible to locate it somewhere in the world.
(However, as expected, it will not suddenly appear in his hands. Either Holmes or his collaborators must find it, wherever it may be).

Originally a constantly active-type of Noble Phantasm, but release of True Name is performed in “Fate/GO”.
Upon release of True Name, an unidentified “sphere” appears, emitting a dazzling light on the surroundings. It weakens the enemy camp and strengthens the ally camp. Even an against an unbeatable opponent, Holmes will discover a path to defeat him.
Also, its True Name is one of the famous words associated with Holmes, yet the first instance in which it was attributed to him was not on Doyle’s novels, but actually the stage play produced・scripted・starred by William Gillette. It has been said that Doyle praised the Holmes played by Gillete as “surpassing my novels”.
Incidentally, the common assumption is that Gillete conceived it based on Holmes’ “elementary” remark towards Watson from Doyle’s short story - “The Adventure of the Crooked Man”.
Heroic Spirit Holmes is the fake resemblance of Dr. Joseph Bell (his model), Doyle himself, and the world oldest detective, Vidocq---
Not. He manifest as the protagonist of a novel series (or so we are lead to believe by his behavior).
In the end, is the story of Sherlock Holmes a literary creation invented by Sir Doyle, or something written down by Dr. John H. Watson as a romantic tale about the real Holmes, or maybe even a blend between these two?
At the very least, Holmes himself should know this. But he never speaks of it himself, and constantly evades the subject whenever it comes up.
Diarmuid Ua Duibhne [Servant]
The Lancer class Servant of the Fourth Holy Grail War, summoned by Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald. A hero of the Fianna, spoken of in Irish mythology. The story of his tragic love affair with Grainne would later become the model for the story of Lancelot and Guinevere. It's no wonder that the Berserker of the Fourth Holy Grail War has such bad compatibility with him!
In battle, he wields two Noble Phantasms: the Crimson Rose of Exorcism (Gae Dearg) which temporarily nullifies the effects of magical energy, and the Yellow Rose of Mortality (Gae Buidhe) which inflicts cursed wounds that cannot be healed by any means.
His basic parameters are not particularly high, but he excels at using battle tactics designed to trip up enemies stronger than himself. In particular, he is the natural enemy of those Heroic Spirits which rely on the powers of their Noble Phantasms to fight. Depending on his strategy, it's even possible that he could have won the entire Fourth Holy Grail War (or suffer a humiliating defeat at the hands of Assassin).
Out of all the Servants in the fourth war, he had the second-worst compatibility with his Master. Though, if his very first opponent had been anybody besides Saber, he might have been able to fight in a way more in line with his Master's expectations. For you see, it was Saber's serene beauty and grace which kindled the flames of chivalry within his heart. Also, while he was summoned as a Lancer this time, and therefore carried the twin demonic spears Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe, his legends also speak of a pair of demonic swords: Moralltach and Beagalltach. So, there was actually a decent chance he could have been summoned as a Saber. Or rather, that's probably what Kayneth was hoping for…

02 - "Nursery Rhyme"
Nursery Rhyme is not a hero in the traditional sense. Rather, it is a general term for any picture book that has managed to manifest itself into a corporeal existence.
The genre itself, deeply loved by the children of England, came into being as a reaction to the half-voiced dreams of the young and eventually emerged as a Servant who came a champion of the innocent. It formed the foundation for perhaps the best known work from the author known as Lewis Carroll. His book "Alice in Wonderland" began as a series of simple rhymes told to the daughters of a family friend while rowing down the River Thames on a warm summer's day.
The Servant Nursery Rhyme is actually a type of Reality Marble. It projects the true feelings of its Master and creates a pseudo-servant in a form imagined by the one who summoned it.
Archer (Green) [Servant]
Green Archer is a Servant who the protagonist fights in the second round.
His Master is Dan Blackmore.
He is a sniper whose body is hidden in a green cloak. In order to avoid confusion with the red-cloaked Archer, he is sometimes called Ryokucha.
His true name is Robin Hood, Hunter of the Forest.
It’s important to note that he is not the Robin Hood you know from popular legend. Instead Green Archer is a chivalrous robber based on the original Robin Hood.
The original Robin Hood was a troublemaking orphan who lived alone on the outskirts of a village. In a twist of fate he became involved in an ordeal with some of the Lord’s soldiers who came around town for tax collection.
The Lord had recently succeeded as head of the family, and he was taking the opportunity to raise taxes to the point where he was essentially telling the villagers to starve to death.
The villagers lacked both the desire and the power to go against the Lord.
So Robin didn’t try to rally the villagers, and instead cast himself as a protector of the forest who would punish any who violated it. He drove off the soldiers using this as his excuse. From then on he kept his identity hidden and continued to fight the Lord. Eventually he became known amongst the villagers as The Green Man.
Traps, surprise attacks, and foul play formed the core of Robin Hood’s tactics, so as a Servant he generally avoids head on confrontation.
He tries to lure his prey into the forest, which is his true territory.
“You could never call my territory a “nice forest.” Complete preparation. An overwhelming network of tricks and traps. A place for the weak to shoot and bring down stronger foe. That’s my Sherwood Forest.”
His trump card is poison obtained from plants in the forest. Actually both Green Archer and Cas-ko are poison users.
Robin Hood appears in “The Tale of Robin Hood” and is a chivalrous robber that lurks in Sherwood forest. Depicted as a hero of justice that fights against the Tyrant King John Lackland, he is a character born from a fusion of Greek myths about Orion, Celtic myths about fairies, and Druid beliefs.
There was a real person after whom he was modeled; however the model is also thought to be the result of a mix of multiple people. From the 16th century onwards he was thought to be someone who lived in the time of King Lionheart.
His true identity is veiled, however there was certainly someone who he originated from. That someone was a hero who fought not for themselves, but for the benefit of other people. But then, after death, they were destined to be forgotten. (If you look at it from this perspective, both Red and Green Archers share similar personalities.) [TL NOTE: Here personality was expressly written in katakana, but it feels like it should probably be “share a similar fate.”]
Robin Hood was handsome enough to make any naive village girl fall for him with a single look. That being said, he was very kind and a rather timid man, so not exactly the perfect lady-killer.
He would often act frivolously to hide his naive fixation on justice. But his creed always puts life over death.
“Pride or idleness are great and all, but it’s all over if you die, right?”
It follows that he held the small-minded desire of just wanting something warm and pleasant to be waiting for him after surviving to the end of the conflict. However it stands that he never managed to achieve this.
To be blunt, he had a childish, ill-tempered perspective of the world. Passing over whatever with a simple “Well I guess that’s the way it is.”
After being hated by the villagers [for the trouble he caused when he was young] he learned to simply go with the flow, and often told himself, “Don’t meddle too deeply in the affairs of others.” Nevertheless he had a love for people and whenever he saw people having fun he would somehow manage to slip himself into the group. He would end up as someone who was less than a friend, but more than a stranger.
His main attribute is virtue, so he loathes evil people, but finds no fault with good people (ordinary people). Although he twists the world around him, he would never sneer at the effort of others, however fruitless it may be.
At the root of his character is his strong sense of shame about his lowly origin.
Robin Hood is summoned as the Servant Archer, and his has poor compatibility with his Master (Dan). Throughout his lifetime he managed to stay alive by employing surprise attacks, assassination, and destructive traps. He was a so-called “Master of Cowardice.” Therefore Dan’s knightly mentality is something of a hindrance to Robin.
When it comes to the Holy Grail War, what effect does this incompatibility have on Robin’s smoldering wish (his desire of the Grail)? To find out, please refer to the game contents.
It must be mentioned that despite being ideologically incompatible with Dan, their personal relationship is rather good. Although Robin can’t follow along with Dan’s knightly mentality, Dan is a man of justice, just like Robin is. As such, Robin reluctantly obeys his orders. His reluctance is not due to prejudice, but rather because they are polar opposites.
Dan is impervious to trickery and deception, so Ryokucha (Green Archer) can’t help but scratch his head, “I wound up with another pain in the ass again.”
Green Archer: “Nitpicking at every little thing isn’t going to defeat our enemies. Oh well I guess it’s fine. I’m used to adversity after all. I’ll follow along obediently without a single complaint.”
Dan: “Archer, just my opinion, but isn’t what you just said generally considered to be a complaint?” Green Archer: “Eh? Ah, yep that’s right. You’ve got me there.”
The old veteran warrior and the young philosophical greenback.
This is the face of the struggle they share.
Class: Alter Ego

Keyword: Crime ballet, composite divinity
Strength: E, Endurance: C, Agility: A+, Magic: A, Luck: B
Constitution of an Abuser: A, Melt Virus: EX, Riding: B
01 - Sawarswati Meltout: Benzaiten's Five String Biwa
The Noble Phantasm that BB gave to this Alter Ego.
Originally, it was not an Anti-Unit but an Anti-Group, Anti-World Noble Phantasm. It was not something to be used in combat or by a warrior, but something used by a something in the range of a civilization with an established culture.
Meltlilith's honey sweetly melts not only the body but also the soul. This Noble Phantasm melts the community's good sense and morals and makes it into a single body that resembles a colony.
And so trampling on the body and heart and society that has been turned into slime and absorbing it is its original power.
That it shows an immense effectiveness against non-combatants is Meltlilith's depravity oozing out.
The one used as the ingredient for this is one of the Seven Deities of Good Luck, a goddess of the same rank as the Three Goddesses of Munakata and Ugajin, Benzaiten.
This is the biwa of Benzaiten, who controls "things that flow," such as natural phenomena, among which is water and wind, music and words, speech, poetry and prose, given form as a Noble Phantasm. The source of Benzaiten is the river goddess of Hindu mythology, Saraswati. She was born from the god of creation Brahma, but she was unable to stand the passionate gaze of Brahma, who had come to desire as his consort due to her overwhelming beauty, and desperately ran from him, making her a goddess who is timid when faced with love. Saraswati is a goddess who rules over the arts and education, and as she's come to be worshiped as Benzaiten, she's come to possess the ability to increase property as well.
02 - Crime Ballet
A simple battle style. The result of Meltlilith, who adores classical ballet, retuning herself: an arrangement of various offensive skills. She came to possess diverse powers by converting already completed stories and stages into skills.
Those references are quite diverse. Below is an explanation of them.
"The Name on the Heel is the Cursed Sword Giselle": from the classical ballet "Giselle." Having fallen into despair to being betrayed by her beloved Albrecht, Giselle uses his sword in a frenzied dance, during which she dies. Women who die before marriage become ghosts known as wilis. Giselle becomes one of the wilis, who capture men and dance them to death, but...
"Unforgivable Hilarion": from the classical ballet "Giselle." Hilarion, who deceived Giselle, is caught by the Wilis and comes to pay for this crime. He is not forgiven and without waiting for daybreak, they make him dance in ecstasy until he dies from exhaustion.
"Farewell, Albrecht": from the classical ballet "Giselle." Albrecht is taken prisoner by the wilis but due to one of the wilis saving him, his life is spared. When Albrecht, who was spared from death by exhaustion, raises his face, the form of the girl he most loved disappears like an illusion.
"The Siren Who Burns Entrails": from the classical ballet "The Prodigal Son." A country feudal lord's son, out of admiration for life in the city, runs away. There are many temptations lurking in the city, the most extreme of which is the enchantress, Siren, who corrupts men the wiles she's come to possess from a life of adversity.
However, the lineage of these skills is merely a smokescreen. Crime Ballet points out how Meltlilith has been cheating.
In order to make herself invincible, Meltlilith has overwritten a basic rule that the far side of the moon possesses, "the lack of a sense of time" with "the lack of hit detection for Meltlilith."
Meltlilith's conduct in selfishly giving herself such a privilege, not by training herself thoroughly, but by altering the rules of the rule, is an exemplary criminal act.
03 - Composite Divinity
Alter Egos are High Servants created as complexes of Heroic Spirits.
BB accessed the Moon Cell's Servant Archives, chose goddesses compatible with the Ego from them, and reproduced the data. Alter Egos came into existence as complexes of goddesses.
Meltlilith is made of three goddesses.
The first is the pure virgin goddess Artemis of Greek mythology. She would unfailing shoot through, simultaneously granting disease and death, those who sought to attain the magical power which pulls the tides and causes them to rise, in other words, their link to the moon's movement.
The second is the cruciform snake staff which originates from Leviathan, who appears in the Old Testament or maybe Lotan from Ugaritic myths. It is something with the same origin as the staff that Moses used to split the Red Sea, while also acting as a symbol of the sea that that staff split. Its owner will be granted a transformative property like that of water, making it feasible for them to adapt to any situation. Furthermore, their form will be able to change phantasmagorically, and it would even be possible to take the shape of the target of one's envy.
The third is the river goddess Saraswati. She holds the ability to control "things that flow," such as natural phenomena, among which is water and wind, music and words, speech, poetry and prose. The timbre that flows from her can excite any emotion in the heart of those who hear it and, moreover, can interfere with the flow of electricity in a computer network.
01 - Constitution of an Abuser [A]
A skill that augments one's aggression in battle. It appears to be a positive skill, but the longer its owner stays in battle, the more their abusive disposition will grow, causing them to lose their usual composure. It's possible to say that this is just one step short of the skill that causes Berserkers to go insane.
The more one attacks, the stronger one becomes, but on the other hand, one's defensive abilities drop. With the added disadvantage of unconsciously lowering one's chances of escape, it can be said that this is a skill that had bad compatibility with the usually composed Meltlilith.
02 - Melt Virus [EX]
A unique power, called id_es, that the Alter Egos possess from their creation.
A skill that evolved from "Absorption." The highest grade of energy drain. Draining, copying, and scaling down are all possible.
The drain process has two parts. First the virus poison (honey) that is produced in Meltlilith's body is injected into the target and fuses the parameters that will be stolen at that time, "experience," "skills," "capacity," etc. After that, she absorbs, converts, and makes a part of herself the parameters that were liquified by the virus.
As long as it as a form, it is possible to drain, regardless of whether it is made of organic matter or inorganic matter, but things without shape...
Things such as spiritual nature and skills can be fused, but converting them into "my own things" is difficult, so it seems she can only utilize them as simple nutrients.
For this reason, what Meltlilith mainly makes into "my own things" is primarily "experience" and "capacity."
Utilizing this ability, Meltlilith plans to augment "my own transcription." She created a transference-type of virus that would melt all the contents of an electronic body and transform them into herself... Meltlilith.
03 - Riding [B]
Riding ability. As long as it is an animal that exists in reality, even if it is a wild animal, she can ride it. Usually, knight-type Servants, such as Saber or Rider, would have this skill but...
Why Meltlilith possesses this skill is something best left to the imagination.
01 - Neurological Disorder
Neurological disorder: Humans possess five sense--sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch--and use those five sensors come to recognize the outside world and, as a result of that, they come to comprehend their own state of being.
At their foundation, humans come in contact with the world through these passive senses. By unconsciously using the excellent sensors known as the five senses, they accept the ordinary. However, in the case that any of the five senses degrade, the consciousness must actively face toward the outside world. That which was passive becomes active.
For example, someone who has lost their sight will deliberately specialize in their remaining four senses and will utilize them as even greater sensors. Ironically, they will come to function as someone whose perception is several times superior to that of a person who has all five senses.
In regards to Meltlilith's five senses, her sense of touch has deteriorated. Especially her hands--she's almost completely lost sensation in her fingers, and for that reason, she has become proactive in her relationship with the outside world.
It is thought that even her interest in causing others pains ultimately arose "because like this, I'm the only one who cannot feel the existence of other people."
This is a digression, but because of the clumsiness of her fingers caused by this, despite her hobby of collecting figures, she cannot immerse herself in assembling garage kits. Currently accepting applications for a skilled assembler!
02 - The End of Pleasure
The end of pleasure: the ego born from BB's "service requirement" and "pleasure." The type of abnormally lovely girl who cannot help but stir up a desire to protect her in men--is what she was, but possibly due to the effect of her skill which allows her to continuously steal her opponent's abilities, she currently possesses a belligerent disposition.
Despite how she takes in other people, she doesn't desire understanding or sympathy from them due to the fact that Meltlilith does not understand the feelings of others.
Meltlilith does not need other people. She doesn't understand love or dreams. Supposing a situation where she would acquire "LOVE," she would probably dedicate everything to and attend the object of it.
To the self-sufficient Meltlilith, the feelings of the object of her affection aren't worth taking into account. She would declare in her oppressive manner that her own feelings are correct.
Without any intention of conversing with them (I already love you so much that I don't feel the need for it), without any desire to touch them (that amount of pleasure is already unsatisfactory), she has no intention of telling them that she wants them to love her (that kind of mutual understanding is already unnecessary.)
Truly, what a domineering Ego devoted to 'no's and 'not's. Beneath that constant domineering attitude and permanent perch on a high horse, there is not a speck of doubt or hesitation but only overly pure "awakening to love."
Meltlilith hasn't noticed. Just what is the true foundation of herself, who is the incarnation of "self-pleasure."
What makes up Meltlilith's core is "devotion to the person one has fallen in love with."
That she repeatedly raised her level by draining and that she decided to control the Moon Cell is so she can offer supreme pleasure to her loved one.
Protecting her loved one → taking her loved one into herself → the herself that she took them into (even if she is completely changed to the point where she doesn't understand herself) will continue to live forever. She has determined that that is the supreme love she will offer to her loved one.
Looking at them from Meltlilith's perspective, even BB and Lip are nothing more than "foreign bodies that even I feel that I want to save."
...However, those feelings are far too closed. To her, who saw only her own feelings as definite, whose connection with the outside world was lacking, "LOVING another person" was itself a fatal bug (defect).
Demonic Sword, Sword of the Sun, Gram.
A demonic sword of ruin and glory that Sigurd, the greatest hero of Northern Europe, possessed in the Volsunga Saga.
It is the model of Caliburn in the legend of King Arthur. As Caliburn was a chosen sword in a stone, Gram was also a chosen sword in the mighty tree of the Volsunga king.
The legend of Gram and its possessor Sigurd is a story filled with glory and ruin, as one would expect from a great hero.
"Der Ring des Nibelungen", composed later in Middle Ages Germany, is the story of a knight equal to the legend of King Artnur, and the sword Gram changes its name and appears in it as Balmung.
As the "strongest demonic sword" equaling the "strongest holy sword", it even possesses the special characteristic of "dragon slayer".
User: Gilgamesh A sword that appears in the “Völsunga Saga” of Norse mythology. It is wielded by the hero Sigurd. The incident where Sigurd’s father Sigmund pulled Gram from the trunk of a tree later became the model for Caliburn, the sword in the stone. After Sigurd reforged Gram from the shattered pieces, it is said to have become a demonic sword capable even of killing a dragon.

Enuma Elish (The Star of Creation That Split Heaven and Earth)
Gilgamesh's final Noble Phantasm which reveals creation--the beginning of everything.
The severing of space which comes from the Sword of Rupture, Ea, the sword crowned with the name of a god from Mesopotamian mythology.
The god, Ea, is believed to be the quasi-deification of the power of the planet which turned, smashed, and stabilized the surface of the earth when it was still covered in gas and seas of magma, during the primordial stage of the earth.
Many gods began building nations after the the primordial earth was stabilized into a world where living creatures could live, but Ea is a god who performed the act of building of planet before that.
Gilgamesh's sword, which is crowned with Ea's name, changes space itself by agitating space-time through the rotation of three layers of giant power fields.
It's true power is not something to be used against a single living creature but against the world. Even among the many Noble Phantasms possessed by Servants, it is one considered to be at the top, the sword "which tore apart the world."
King of Heroes
Another name for Gilgamesh. It does not mean a king who is a hero but is used with the implication that he is the king over heroes.
The story of Gilgamesh, is who mankind's oldest hero, is copied within the mythologies of all the countries of the world. The origin of all myths, the model on which heroes are based...calling him such would not be an exaggeration.
More or less, the heroes of various myths are derived from Gilgamesh's legend. As such, Gilgamesh possesses the prototypes of the Noble Phantasms that heroes carry... the original treasures from before every legend was arranged. Though it may be a paradox, unless the original, Gilgamesh, possesses it, it cannot be handed down as the Noble Phantasm possessed by the later heroes who were derived from him.
When humanity was still small. Within the treasury of the king, who governed his kingdom and lived in as much luxury as he desired, was collected every single treasure in the world.
Inside that treasury, there is the treasured swords that saved later heroes, and there is preserved the cursed swords that stole the lives of heroes.
The reason that Gilgamesh is called the King of Heroes is here. Noble Phantasms are primarily one to a any single hero. Not only does he possess an approximately infinite amount of them, he also owns the "legends" that other heroes are wake against, as if it were natural. It should be impossible for an average hero to cross swords with him.
As a Heroic Spirit, he is an absolute warrior in battles against Heroic Spirits. While there are several heroes who hold the title of king, such as the King of Knights and the King of Conquerors, but in regards to being crowned with the title "King of All Heroes," in all of heaven and earth, he is the only one.
As he became a young man, Gilgamesh's violent disposition only grew. Of course the people of Uruk, but even the gods who dispatched him, were greatly perplexed by his violence.
"Gilgamesh is not fulfilling his original role." "That insolent creature needs someone to admonish him."
Having come to that conclusion, the gods sent a single life to the surface. Its name was Enkidu. It was a person made by a god and given her blood, the same as Gilgamesh.
It had neither a sex nor a fixed form. Enkidu, being made from clay by a god, was "Uruk's greatest weapon," able to change its shape at will. According to the god which was its mother's will, Enkidu confronted Gilgamesh before the temple of Uruk. With their exchanging of blows like a storm, their battle occurred within the city.
After that fierce fighting, they both collapsed to the ground without consideration for where, praised each other's valor, and became peerless friends.
Gilgamesh, who had been without equal, for the first time found someone he could call "a friend."
After that, while his vainglorious attitude did not change, Gilgamesh, remonstrated by Enkidu, softened his tyranny.
Gilgamesh, who had acquired someone who understood him in Enkidu, defeated the guardian of the forest and beast of the gods, Humbaba, and, as the most excellent king on the earth, took possession of every single treasure.
At this time, the dazzlingly powerful Gilgamesh was an existence that not even the gods could avert their eyes from.
A goddess fell in LOVE with this Gilgamesh. It was the goddess of fertility Ishtar. She proposed to Gilgamesh, but he quickly refused. Because he knew that how whimsical and cruel a witch who rendered men useless Ishtar was.
Ishtar, enraged by Gilgamesh's insults, as her revenge, clung to her father, the god Anu, in tears and released the greatest of divine beasts, "the Bull of Heaven," onto the earth.
"The Bull of Heaven" is a disaster of extreme magnitude clad in storms. When it appeared, a seven-year famine and destruction occurred on earth. In other words, the downfall of Uruk.
Against this divine beast which none could match, Gilgamesh and Enkidu worked together to stand against it and repelled it splendidly. Once again, the goddess lost face. Naturally, Isthar's rage had not lessened, and she requested death for either of the two of them from the gods. Because for one with a human body to kill the beast of the gods was a sin.
Ishtar's wish was granted, and one of the two, Enkidu, who was created by the gods, unable to defy that decree, slowly weakened and died.
...The sole person who understood the king, Enkidu. Just how large a shadow his loss cast over Gilgamesh is told in his lifetime afterward.
Enkidu is an autonomous weapon created from the clay of the gods. In SE.RA.PH. terms, he is close to an AI. As a result of being complete from birth, he neither grows nor evolves. He could take various forms as needed, but it is said his usual appearance was that of a 16-year-old person who could be seen as a girl or a boy with long hair which faintly shines a light-green color.
01 - Divinity [B (A+)]
A judgement regarding whether or not one's body possess the property of being divine.
Though he possesses the greatest rank of divine spirit aptitude, Gilgamesh himself hates the gods, so the rank has gone down.
02 - Golden Rule [A]
Not the bodily golden ratio, but one's destiny in regard to how much money follows one around in life.
At rank A, it's possible to call it a soul of gold. With this Goldy attitude, even while living like a multimillionaire, he won't have any money troubles during his life.
03 - Collector [EX]
The ability to acquire items of higher quality. It's the good luck of frequently obtaining even rare items, but because it only applies to Gilgamesh himself, it does not bless the Master.
Gilgamesh is a collector of treasure. "I collected all the treasures of the earth," is Gilgamesh's favorite phrase, but that is not a metaphor. He collected and stored away a sample of all the technology that was developed during his age and sealed them.
That which Gilgamesh stored, rather than being treasure, is "the origin of the intelligence of mankind" itself. If it does not exist in Gilgamesh's treasury, then it is "something produced by a new breed of humanity, according a completely new concept," "something made from the technology of the culture born from the intelligent life from another heavenly body," one of the two.
For that reason, of course he has airplanes and submarines. The desires of the people from before Christ are not different, and it would not do for the crafts of ancient times when magic was in good health to be inferior to the crafts of the modern age. People generally realize the "tools of hope" that they dream of, and each time that occurs, it ended with them being confiscated by the king's hand.
The offensive skill Gilgamesh uses, "Gate of Babylon," shoots the treasure he collected like this like arrows. The gate to the golden capital opens, and his treasures are shot out from his treasure cellar.
This is a digression, but after the Noble Phantasms that are shot out are used, regardless of how far it has gone, it turns to Gilgamesh's treasure cellar. "Hah. I possess a Noble Phantasm which excels at the task of retrieval," says the person himself.
The demigod king who ruled over the Sumerian city-state of Uruk in the time before Christ. Not just a legend but also a real person, the king written of in mankind's oldest epic, "The Epic of Gilgamesh."
Possessing great divinity as two-thirds god and one-third human, without anyone to match him in this world, he was perfected as a transcendent being who attained everything in the world.
In his childhood, he was adored by the people as the ideal ruler, but as he grew, possible due to being treated as almighty, his consideration for the people waned, and he came to rule Uruk with absolute power.
However, simply being oppressive does not make one a tyrant, he made Uruk prosper properly, found a friend he could speak with, and in personally subjugating the phenomena that would harm the people, that heroic quality cannot be doubted.
He is the heroic figure who defeated the bull so large it was cloaked in the heavens and rendered the civilization of this fortified Sumerian city unshakeable.
The following is historical fact, which differs from "The Epic of Gilgamesh." According to a fragment of an inscription found in an archaeological excavation of the historical ruins of this Sumerian city, Uruk was a city-state that existed on the shore of Persian south of Mesopotamia, and he was the fifth king of that city's first dynasty. It obtained assets through ocean trade and subjugated the region of southern Mesopotamia. He was victorious in the fight against Aga, king of the Kish who controlled the north made strong the city-states of Sumer. However, as a result the reckless deforestation of the woods due to the building of ships, their agricultural land was destroyed.
For that reason, Gilgamesh, seeking the giant tree, the Lebanon Cedar, launched an expedition all the way to far-away Phoenicia (modern day Lebanon), fought against the people of woods, called Humbaba, gained victory against them, and brought that massive tree back with him.
According to "The Epic of Gilgamesh," it seems that Gilgamesh, after the loss of Enkidu, fell into depression, his previous vigor gone.
The fact that Enkidu, whose strength had not been inferior to Gilgamesh's own, could die, was the shock that Gilgamesh received.
Gilgamesh, who was tormented over anxiety of death, finally set off on a trip to the realm of the death in search of perpetual youth and eternal life.
It was said that there lived a sage who had lived since placing a large amount of animals upon an ark before the coming of a deluge that assailed the earth.
This sage was said to be the only one of the earth escape from death and live until the present. Seeking him, Gilgamesh set across wilderness alone.
At the end of that long journey and many hardships, Gilgamesh finally managed to reach the realm of the dead. There, he met the sage, Utnapishtim, spoke with him, and in the end, Gilgamesh attained the spirit herb of perpetual youth and eternal life.
Gilgamesh came to rise above the "death" that had taken even Enkidu.
His heart's desire fulfilled, during his triumphant return to Uruk, Gilgamesh stopped by a spring. He cleansed himself; it seems he wanted to test the fruits of his labor while in perfect condition.
However. While he was bathing, unexpectedly, a snake with an empty stomach sniffed out the smell of the spirit herb of perpetual youth and eternal life.
By the time he noticed, it was too late. Panicked, Gilgamesh emerged from the spring, all that remained there was the skin that snake had shed.
Having lost the spirit herb of perpetual youth and eternal life in this way, Gilgamesh was irritated for a long interval, but afterwards, he made his way back to his own castle, Uruk.
While the Gilgamesh after this was severe, he ruled his state quietly, entrusted to to the next king, and went to his eternal rest.
Without telling anyone of the whereabouts of the spirit herb of perpetual youth and eternal life.
Mankind's oldest king of heroes, Gilgamesh. Discord with the gods, the journey for the perpetual youth and eternal life, a deluge which covered the world. In that epic is the basis of every legend.
The truth of his epic poem, which has many uncertain points concerning fine details exists on the other side of the veil of romance placed upon it by the present day.
This is another digression, but the snake is reborn with a new body every time it sheds its skin because it stole and ate Gilgamesh's spirit herb... is what is said. It seems that the way the snake goes about its life appeared to the ancient people as a kind of perpetual youth and eternal life that was not available to humans.
User: Saber Excalibur’s appearance after being corrupted by evil. Excalibur functions by converting its user’s magical energy into offensive power. Because of this nature as a “sword that amplifies”, when Saber was blackened, Excalibur blackened with her. In Arthurian legend, King Arthur received Excalibur from Vivian, a fairy of the lake. Just as the fairy Vivian who embodied goodness had her polar opposite in the evil Morgan, so too does Excalibur have the possibility of embodying both good and evil. However, whether Excalibur is filled with good or stained by evil, the fact that it is the strongest holy sword does not change.

Akitaka Suzurigi [Person's Name]
A man in his early thirties. Followed the mistress like a shadow. A servant of the Ryougi household.
A person hired to take care of Shiki's education. A role model of a butler who served Shiki come rain or shine.
A companion who was kept constantly busy by Shiki's willfulness and lack of common sense. He was on good terms with Mikiya.
By the way, his wardrobe consisted entirely of black suits. He got along quite well with Mikiya.

Q: When Shiki bought that leather jacket, was it out of her own allowance? And if so, how much does she get?
Nasu: She has a monthly allowance of 50,000 yen. If she ever needs more money beyond that, she casually puts out an “I wanna go shopping” sort of aura, and the ever-perceptive Mr. Akitaka will make arrangements. Takeuchi: An “I wanna go shopping” aura… So that would be, like, staring at something she wants with gleaming eyes, right? …I’d like to see that. Nasu: Nah, she’ll just be a little bit more grouchy than usual. Definitely.

Nasu: She can’t actually distinguish between different types, but because she’s been in contact with nothing but high-class goods her entire life she can at least tell the difference between “good” and “bad”. At the kimono fabrics shop, she’ll pick out a material without hesitation and leave, at which point Akitaka will look at the price only to find that it costs as much as he makes in two months! Takeuchi: Well, it’s partly because kimonos are expensive, right? I bet she also has a lot of hand-me-downs from her mother.

Takeuchi: What a scary question. Mikiya… right until the very end… you wouldn't give them your name… Nasu: Mikiya really is insane! If it was me, I'd end up throwing up as soon as I was caught. …Setting that aside, Shiki's parents had already heard from Akitaka that Shiki was acting strangely. Even if they didn't know all the details, they at least understood that their daughter was the one causing trouble.

When I remember the way girls at live shows would scream out things like "Kyaaah, Ibitsuuu!" and "Utsukushiii!", almost fainting, I can't help but think Japan isn't that bad after all.

Artificial angels within the Hundred A-rays. The 20th species within the 100, but it is equal to the top 10 just considering its power to destroy objects. A mass that protects a single A-ray species. The original is an angel in the largest religion of the old age. A human type that has a pair of bird wings.
Aggressive species that uses the absorbed heavy particle that scattered in the atmosphere after the world got destroyed as its source of power.
[v] Notes - The Six Sisters [No.1 savig system to earth]
At the time of the Great War, beings that ruled over the Hundred A-rays.
It's said that they look just like humans, and that all six looked like witches in a fairy story wearing a black hat and riding on a broom stick. Each one of them carried an ability that surpasses all the hundred A-rays.
Near the end of the Great War, the youngest sister, "Judge" was defeated by a Knight, but her death cry tore apart a continent. The whereabouts of the remaining five is unknown.
An Aristoteles that appeared in the western continent.
A black giant several dozen kilometers in size. Its form was pretty close to a human.
It was actually a group of black photon gas, and theoretically its size can expand infinitely. It carries a unknown core in its center that can only be described as an artificial sun, and the gases are emitted from this object.
Of the 8 Aristoteles, it eliminated the most living things. The western continent went on an all out battle, and it wiped them out without a scar. ... Although there's probably no such thing as a scar to this Aristoteles.
After this incident, a team of Knights were sent to the western continent. After a fierce battle, it was sliced into half by the demonic sword of Knight Edem, the Slash Emperor. The chopped artificial sun went berserk and burned the whole western continent.
A cross shaped Aristoteles that is 3000 meters long.
It's outer shell is composed of an illuminating mineral, and there's nothing else. This flying object fires a rain of light to the ground from its body.
The rain is a cross shaped electric impact that is a meter long, and it explodes as it hits the ground, annihilating the living things around it. There are variations to this cross shaped light and some causes an earthquake that tears apart the earth as it lands on the ground. The crosses struck on the ground are just like tombs spread about on the wild land.
aka the Flying Fortress, it seems to be the leader of the Aristoteles's that are on the planet.
Akira Seo [Person's name]
A student at the Asagami Academy for Girls. Akiha's junior.
She appears in a side story included on the Tsukihime Plus Disc, "Alliance of Illusionary Eyes", and also makes a cameo appearance in Kagetsu Tohya.
Her relationship with Akiha is a comparatively long one, and she has been Akiha's junior ever since she was a member of the middle school student council. She's in the somewhat comical position of idolizing Akiha, yet knowing enough about her terrifying aspects to be afraid of her as well.
She secretly makes doujinshi in her spare time, though very few people at the academy are aware of it. Akiha is the only person that knows about how she sneaks into the toilets in the middle of the night to work on it.
As far as boys are concerned, she's more attracted by their voices than their looks. When she heard Shiki's voice over the phone, it was a dead-center 150 kph fastball strike, or something to that effect. After that, she began to harbor a yearning for Shiki similar to adoration, but since she was scared of Akiha she never called him.
She has the power to see predictions of the future as images (future sight), and because of that ended up being dragged into a murder case.
According to Shiki, it would be great if she was his little sister. If Akiha ever found out he said that, it would end terribly for both Shiki and Akira.
Given that she attends the Asagami Academy for Girls, it should go without saying that she's a well-born girl. Her family runs a large liquor store in Aomori. As you'd expect from somebody growing up in that kind of environment, she can really hold her own when it comes to drinking.
By the way, in kanji "Akira" is written with the character for "crystal". As in, a crystal ball that sees the future.
A famous detective who resolves difficult cases beyond the reach of normal deduction, also referred to as "the Locked-Room Detective" -- piercing to the very heart of incidents with her dark, blue eyes. She resides in a place called Tohno City, which exists in a world of despair wherein the very concept of maids has been destroyed. Silently judging the world with an emotionless countenance, she is a cold, logical preserver of the law whose case resolution rate is 100% -- and feared both by the perpetrators and victims of crimes. It could be said that she is a bizarre individual who pursues justice with a crazed intensity, whose odd manner of verbalized deduction -- saying things like "motive from alibi" or "deductive perfection" -- is nevertheless strangely compelling.
Similar but different from a Magical Girl, the nature of her existence within the night-shadowed metropolis is more accurately that of a "Dark Hero." Her main skills are psychological modification, narrative correction, and confession enforcement. Per her cool character, when her ability "Locked-Room Detective" is active, her sitting posture takes on an air appropriate to that of an "absolute dictator of logic." She continues her involvement in criminal investigation because she has judged it the most efficient method of locating her beloved long-lost twin. Incidentally, her true identity is unknown.
For the sake of finding her sister, she patrols the streets of Tohno City tonight as well.
Special Ability: "Locked-Room Detective"
The name of Brainwashing-Detective's ability does not refer to specialization in locked-room mysteries. Rather, in the condition that she and one suspect of her choice are confined to a locked room alone, a bizarre phenomenon occurs whereby -- within minutes -- the suspect is induced to make a full confession to the crime, and confirms themselves as the perpetrator. Though her method to her deductive reasoning is presumably amazing and brilliant, none besides herself and the suspect of her choice bear witness to it.
Brainwashing-Detective Hisui [Colloquial term]
An inside joke. It became popular after the release of the Half-moon edition.
In that version of the game, Hisui had an odd habit of saying mind-reeling phrases like "I'll accompany your room." No matter how you look at it, she was definitely trying to brainwash poor Shiki.
Even the art director got in on it, and posted a picture of Hisui trying to brainwash Ciel on the Tsukihime BBS, which was cuter than you might expect.
"You are the culprit."
Later, it was revived as Hisui's Arc Drive in Melty Blood.
Ciel [Person's name]
One of the heroines in Tsukihime. A mysterious upperclassman. At the beginning of the game, she planted a suggestion in both Shiki and the players' heads that she was just an ordinary, strangely named sempai that they already knew. Also, glasses.
In truth, she is the newest member of the Church's inquisition force, the Burial Agency, and is tasked with punishing the Dead Apostle Roa. She infiltrated Shiki's school because she suspected him of being Roa's reincarnation, but in the process of observing him she ended up being charmed by him instead. It wasn't something as simple as falling in love, of course. It's just that she was moved by the fact that Shiki could lead such a carefree life despite having experienced death just like she had.
Due to a certain contradiction, she is an existence that cannot die no matter what happens. She is trying to destroy Roa in order to resolve this state of affairs. She boasts excellent reflexes, and is number seven in the Burial Agency despite her young age. She's not just skilled in martial arts, though. The knowledge of sorcery that she inherited from Roa is equivalent to that possessed by a magus of the rank of Grand – the highest rank in the Association. Even in the Church, where sorcery is officially forbidden, this is regarded as a highly useful asset. However, Ciel herself hates drawing on Roa's knowledge.
Within the Burial Agency she is known as "Bow", due to her preference for using projectile weapons. She fights using all sorts of projectiles – not just throwing swords, but guns as well. In fact, the one responsible for changing the Seventh Holy Scripture from a beast's horn into its current shape was actually Ciel.
Before she was part of the Burial Agency, she was the daughter of a baker. Her dream was to become a cake maker, and she already had some skill at making sweets.
…Though it seems she has no interest in making Western-style sweets anymore, on account of it dredges up memories of the past.
Her reputation as a curry lover has grown with each successive appearance, and at this point her name itself is synonymous with the stuff. As for why she loves curry so much, Takeuchi made a manga about it. It's probably about half true.
Always seems to end up playing second-fiddle to the other heroines. Maybe it's because of her magnanimous, all-forgiving nature?
Oh, well, at least her hand-to-hand combat action in Melty Blood ended up being really cool, since she was conceived of as a battle-type heroine from the very start.
Forte [Name • Colloquial Term]
A magus of the Association.
A rare magus who experienced gruesome melees such as protecting Seal-Designed Magi and recovering grimoire.
Forte favoured spells called Aero Strikes, and the sword acted as the magical staff.
There were three orifices on the body of the sword, thus the sword was not quite fit for slashing. The purpose of the orifices was to generate sound. Slashing the sword generated a resonant effect, producing an invisible impact on the target.
She looked like a blade-wielding swordsman, but this swordsman performed her swordplay hundreds of meters away from her opponent.
The oldest daughter of a mage lineage of many generations. It seemed like she encountered Aozaki, who also shared the Wind Element, several times.
Ichiko Inui [Person's name]
Arihiko's older sister. Her nickname is Miss Strawberry.
Because Shiki has been hanging out at the Inui house since he was a middle school student, Ichiko could also be considered an acquaintance of his. Or perhaps it would be better to call her an existence he can't defy.
Though her way of life is even more self-indulgent than Arihiko's, she is a splendidly independent adult woman.
As far as Shiki and Arihiko know, she's a mysterious person who changes jobs about once a year.
Sometimes if something good happens she'll give Shiki a present to commemorate it, but invariably it's always something completely inscrutable. Still, since it seems to mean a lot to Ichiko, Shiki values them greatly.
Makihisa Tohno [Person's name]
Akiha and SHIKI's father. He took in Kohaku and Hisui as tools to restrain his Tohno blood, and adopted Shiki for his own amusement. He was a mischievous prankster who diligently held on to his private papers. He had a strong, self-indulgent feeling of being victimized, and you could probably say that it was his weakness that invited tragedy into the Tohno family.
In order to protect his family (blood relatives) and solidify the Tohno's position he forged connections with the demon hunter organization, which was locked in a cold war with the demon hybrids at the time. By entering into a cooperative relationship with the demon hunters, he was able to gain sovereignty over the entire Misaki City region.
However, he was still unable to control his dread toward Nanaya Kiri, the bloodthirsty killer he saw as a youth while serving under a certain old man. So, after consolidating his power, he launched a surprise attack on the Nanaya village and completely wiped them out.
As for how he died, that was covered in the main story.
It was karmic retribution, an end appropriate for one who was in no way a bad person, yet caused so much harm.
Narbareck [Person's name]
The woman standing at the top of the Burial Agency.
She's not the same Narbareck that was talking to Roa, but it just so happens that the administrator of the Burial Agency is always a member of the same family. The current Narbareck is a homicidal maniac, and has shut herself away in the Burial Agency's executive office.
…Well, it's more like house arrest, really.
She regularly bullies all the members of the Burial Agency when they return from missions, and in turn they basically all wish she would just drop dead.
As the powerhouse whose job it is to reign in all the freaks in the Burial Agency, her infamy even reaches as far as the Association. Despite her young age, she is a monster that has already captured three of the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors.
Sougen Jinan [Person's name]
As the Tohno's exclusive doctor, he is Shiki's primary care physician.
It seems that he used to be a member of an organization that monitors demon hybrids, and was friends with Nanaya Kiri. However, he has since retired, and is currently some sort of shady back-alley doctor.
Since he knows the true nature of Shiki's anemia, he has been maintaining his health with Eastern medicine. It's not a cure, but that's the beauty of it. Of course, Shiki's anemia was never something that could be cured in the first place.
According to Shiki, he's a mad doctor. Though he is foul mouthed, he is also possessed of a strong sense of duty, and it seems he is acquainted with Miyako. Probably, she used to tag along with Shiki when he visited the Jinan Clinic while he was living in the Arima household. As his appearance suggests, he has an interest in Chinese martial arts, and may even be the one responsible for teaching Miyako the basic forms.
Tokie Jinan [Person's name]
Jinan Sougen's only daughter.
Despite her warm and cozy atmosphere, she is actually a foxy seductress who targets younger men.
She is Kohaku's elder fellow pupil in pharmacology, and an expert in acupuncture. She's even stood in for her father and medically examined Shiki's body before, so it goes without saying that their relationship was not an ordinary one.
She only showed up for a split second in Kagetsu Tohya, but she still managed to stir up some trouble. It may be that she was destined to become a schemer the very instant she became a pupil alongside Kohaku.
She is a devilish woman, who ruins men. Or rather, the man she marries will undoubtedly be content with his life, but also utterly unable to function as a human being without her. Mmm, well, it may not be what he always dreamed of, but as long as he's happy it should be okay, right?
Tonami Kugamine [Person's name]
Eldest son of the Kugamine, the Tohno branch family with the most material wealth. He was engaged to Akiha as a matter of convenience.
He is mentioned briefly in name only in Tsukihime itself, but in Kagetsu Tohya he displayed his awe-inspiring and manly figure.
His outward appearance is that of a good-natured, plump middle-aged man. His true nature, though, is quite different. He is a preposterous person, full of dark and loathsome ambitions. And also a total pervert. He's a voyeur photography buff, and loves girls' bodies (but not girls). In truth, it seems Hisui is more his type than Akiha.
Despite being related to the Tohno, the abnormal blood of the Kugamine is quite thin. Also, though the men of their family are all prone to obesity, their women are apparently extremely beautiful.
Tsukasa Shijyou [Person's name]
A student at the Asagami Academy for Girls. Her pet name is "Ika".
She was an honor student gifted with both intelligence and beauty, capable of accomplishing anything she put her mind to. However, she fell into the grips of obsession with the appearance of the brilliant Tohno Akiha, who outshone even her.
She appears in one of the side stories in Kagetsu Tohya. Perhaps because her timidity and feeling of being cornered were pretty cute, very few players actually ended up disliking her.
Also, she still couldn't stop herself from quivering in Akiha's presence even after the incident was resolved, but she did her best to muster her courage and resist the urge to run away.
Youichi Takada [Person]
A mysterious character who shows up from time to time. Though he seems like something you'd see in a manga, surprisingly he actually exists in reality. Details about his life are unknown, but you couldn't ask for a better personality.
The motorcycle he rides is a Honda Dream 50.
