Theatrical Edition Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA: Vow in the Snow (劇場版 Fate/kaleid liner プリズマ☆イリヤ 雪下の誓い, Gekijō-ban Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA: Sekka no Chikai?) (Also known as Oath under Snow) is an anime movie adaptation of the second part of the Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA 3rei! manga (Chapter 29 to 39). It was directed by Shin Oonuma and Masato Jinbo. It was animated by Silver LinkWP, it was exhibited on japanese cinemas on August 26, 2017. Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase wrote the script, Kazuya Hirata designed the characters, and Tatsuya Katou with TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND composed the music. It is a flashback revolving around Shirou's and Miyu's past and the 5th Ainsworth Holy Grail War.
Story[]
After succumbing to an unenviable fate, Kiritsugu Emiya has left Shirou Emiya the duty to save mankind in his place. The world is dying and time is ticking, but when the salvation Shirou seeks is at the cost of his only family left—his younger sister—will he still have the heart to pursue this duty?
Shirou is now pressed with the choice to continue being a hero of justice—or become the very evil his ideal has vowed to vanquish. The orphan is alone once again, yet his body is still made of swords. The Fifth Holy Grail War now begins with his oath under snow.[1]

Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA: Vow in the Snow - Dark Sakura's Room (劇場版 Fate/kaleid liner プリズマ☆イリヤ 雪下の誓い 黒桜の部屋, Gekijō-ban Fate/kaleid liner Purizuma ☆ Iriya: Sekka no Chikai - Kuro Sakura no Heya?) is a special anime included in the limited edition of the DVD/Blu-ray of the movie. It was released in January 31, 2018. It shows Sakura and Shirou talking about the movie contents breaking the fourth wall in an interview setting.
