Rider (ライダー, Raidā?) is the Rider-class Servant able to be summoned by the Protagonist in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile
Identity
Rider's True Name is QuetzalcoatlWP (ケツァル・コアトル, Ketsaru Koatoru?). Quetzalcoatl is one of the highest deities in Aztec mythologyWP from Central America. The god of life, harvest, culture, rain, and wind. Legend also tells that she ruled the sun, for a time.[1]
The name “Quetzalcoatl” means “feathered serpent” or “winged serpent.” She is worshiped as a god who rejects sacrificial rites, and conflated with both TlahuizcalpantecuhtliWP — the god of Venus, the morning star — and the Mayan god KukulkanWP.[1]
Quetzalcoatl was a righteous god under whom humans prospered. She was destroyed by the god TezcatlipocaWP, and disappeared from the Aztecs, leaving behind only a prophecy of her return.[1]
Appearance
Personality
She is a kind, carefree, and wise goddess. She despised human sacrifice, and loved humans.[1]
The reason for Quetzalcoatl’s fascination with lucha libreWP (professional wrestling) is simple. Apparently, she witnessed lucha libre when she was summoned in some time and place, and the sight shocked her so deeply that it even lit Quetzalcoatl’s main body aflame in the seat of gods.

Role
Fate/Grand Order
A portion of Quetzalcoatl has been given form and incarnated as a Servant. This is an incarnation of a copy of one of the highest beings. The gods of Central American mythologies differ greatly from the deities of other mythologies in the sense that they acted through human vessels. Due to these abnormal circumstances, Quetzalcoatl has taken the appearance of a completely unknown woman, descending upon the modern era as a god who loves the proud Mexican sport of lucha libreWP. It’s not as if she’s particularly worshiped as a god of lucha libre. She just really likes lucha. Quetzalcoatl was originally a male god, but has acquired the aspect of a goddess in this current incarnation. According to her, maybe she was influenced by her long association with the planet VenusWP, and VenusWP (AphroditeWP) was a goddess of beauty, after all. Just as the many attributions of Quetzalcoatl depended on the region in which she was worshiped, perhaps, in some era, this woman was once Quetzalcoatl’s body.[1]

Abilities
She loves the luchador MisticoWP. As the god of the wind and Venus, the sight of this wingless luchador (female wrestlers are luchadoras) soaring through the air moved her to tears, and she even glimpsed the future, or something. Fortunately, Quetzalcoatl’s tenacious and diligent nature allowed her to become a Lucha Master in the blink of an eye.[1]
Quetzalcoatl boasts that she can headlock any Divinity or monster into submission if she felt like it, but as a lucha libre proponent of primarily aerial maneuvers, she has sealed her locking techniques which form the soul of lucha.[1]
Her Noble Phantasm is Xiuhcoatl, Quetzalcoatl and Piedra Del Sol.
Gorgon mentions that Quetzalcoatl has the qualifications to be summoned under the Avenger class.[2]
Aside from wielding the macuahuitl, she is an enthusiast of lucha libreWP, which she utilizes in both normal attack and Noble Phantasm.
