|Normal | Sakurider | Dark Sakura|
|Japanese name:||間桐 桜|
|Appears in:|| Fate/Extra|
|Voice actor:||Noriko Shitaya|
|Character type:||Human, NPC|
Sakura is very soft spoken and caring; this personality is robotic and repetitive, as she was programmed to follow a specific role by the system of the Moon Cell. However, in certain situations, she can also display strange and out of character behaviors that creeps out the Protagonist.
Sakura is first introduced as Shinji's younger sister who works in the nurse's office. As the end of the prologue approaches, Shinji realizes that, while he'd always wanted one, he'd never had a younger sister. Sakura's programming malfunctions during this revelation, exposing her as an NPC programmed to think she is related to Shinji.
During the Holy Grail war, Sakura resumes her position in the nurse's office, handing out weekly supplies to the participants and also tends to any injuries they may suffer during the war that are not a result of "standard" combat; it appears that if she were to leave the office too long, she could lose her job. She is well known amongst Masters and NPCs for her delicious lunches.
Due to her long, purple hair, she poses as Rider in the third episode of the TYPE-MOON MOVIE Ace 2nd specials, which causes others to call her Sakurider (サクライダー, ?). Her role is also mixed with the regular Sakura of Fate/stay night, allowing her to become Dark Sakura (黒桜, Kuro Sakura?).
Fate/Extra CCC encyclopedia - The protagonist in the true ending (spoiler)
Warning. This entry is a major spoiler so it’s recommended that you skip this until you have cleared the game.
Now then, in the true end the protagonist wakes up, but that wasn’t in the facility in Japan where “his/her original” was sleeping, but an abandoned facility in a completely different location.
At the conclusion of Heaven’s Fall, the “big cheat” Sakura mentioned in the end was her fully mobilizing the technology of the mooncell to send the protagonist of CCC to the earth. She basically transferred his/her mind to an artificially created completely human body. (Since Sakura’s original was an AI, she’s using a body different from a human one).
Having left the moon, the two of them had no way of knowing what happened afterwards in the holy grail war.
Did Leo become victorious and encounter that man in the core of the moon cell, was it Rin or Rani who survived? Or was it just like in the normal history where the weakest Master, separated from the events of CCC, arrived at the core?
It’s a future story filled with the hope of endless possibilities.
Or something like that.
