Today's Menu For Emiya Family (衛宮さんちの今日のごはん, Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan?) is an ongoing parody manga written and illustrated by TAa. An anime adaptation made by Ufotable aired its first episode on December 31, 2017 during the Fate Project Ōmisoka TV Special 2017.[1]

The story centers around Shirou Emiya cooking dishes for the other Fate/stay night characters.

Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan

Saber, Taiga and Shirou.

Shirou Emiya
A boy who is a mage apprentice.[1]
Saber
A Servant who contracted with Shirou.[1]
Illyasviel von Einzbern
She lives outside of Fuyuki City. A girl of the Einzbern family. Her nickname is Illya.[1]
Taiga Fujimura
Shirou's missing parental presence. She is a teacher at the school Shirou goes, the Homurahara Academy.[1]
Lancer
A Lancer-class Servant.[1]
Rin Tohsaka
Shirou's classmate. The landlord of Fuyuki and the sixth head of the Tohsaka family.[1]
Sakura Matou
Shirou's junior.[1]
Rider
A Rider-class Servant.[1]
Assassin
An Assassin-class Servant.[1]
Issei Ryuudou
Shirou's classmate. He serves as the student council president and is the second son of the head priest of the Ryuudou Temple.[1]
Ayako Mitsuzuri
Shirou's classmate. She is the captain of the archery club.[1]
Shinji Matou
Sakura's older brother and Shirou's classmate. He is the leader of the archery club.[1]
Kiritsugu Emiya
Shirou's adoptive father.[1]

DevelopmentEdit

VolumesEdit

The manga started its serialization in the magazine, Young Ace UP, on January 26, 2016. The manga is published and distributed by Kadokawa Shoten. The first volume of the manga was released on January 26, 2017 and the second volume on December 26, 2017.

AnimeEdit

DevelopmentEdit

The second episode of the net animation was released on February 1, 2018. The anime will stream starting in February on AbemaTV, with new episodes premiering on the first of every month at 9:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. EST). However, the first episode debuted online on January 25 at 9:00 p.m.[2]

It's directed by Takahiro Miura and Tetsuto Satou with music by Go Shiina, Toko Uchimura as the character designer and Kazuo Ebisawa as the art director. The opening song is performed by DJ Misoshiru & MC Gohan and the ending song by Sangatsu no Phantasia. The anime is produced by Ufotable.[1] Aniplex USA started streaming the anime on January 25, 2018 on Crunchyroll.[3]

During April Fools' Day 2018, the appearance of an another "Emiya-san" was teased with a new key visual. After Episode 7, the second visual for the show is released.[1]
